My fav from the Ess meltdown on Bomber blitz

"Frawley 2
Pedersen 2 (one of them from about 70)
Clark 2
Watts 2 (one of them a handball in his lap 25m out)

The game wasn't lost down back."

Thanks for the link, that was fun

I only read the first page, but what I found interesting was that no one was blaming the umpires or the ASADA business... in fact, there were comments dismissing excuses and stating that they were just a plain rubbish side.

You are backing a losing horse dc.

The writing is on the wall for all to see.

Red and blue has been a losing symbol for half a century.

White , red and blue is the way of the future.

Get with the strength dc embrace the glorious future.

We were just in the red and blue today. The white is simply keeping some of it covered because it's unfair to all the other teams to launch a red and blue assault at times. It's white, it's not a colour just a shade.

I've probably only been to the footy by myself a handful of times and tonight was one of them. I watched from space station height for the first three quarters then went down and stood at the back behind the goals in the Ponsford for the final quarter in case the game got tight and I could drown my frenzied squealing in amongst similar pitch. I'm not really contributing anything to this thread, I just haven't had the usual chance to debrief on the game with friends and family on the walk back to the car, and have had to settle for vigorous hugs from strangers after the final siren.

That feeling immediately after the siren. Gold. Very proud of the team tonight.

Snap! I was up in Q50 in the northern stand for the first three quarters (pretty much packed to the boards up there) and then went down to ground level, on the left forward flank towards our goals for the last quarter (more or less directly below where I had been earlier). Was surrounded by Don supporters and got a few looks, but it was well worth it for Salem's goal. The noise from the members' stand was unbelievable! Got a great look at the stunning final move, especially Crossy's kick to Salem. Crossy also gave a footy to someone near me after the game. Looked like he could still play another game straightaway.

One little moment I liked: Jones was at the bottom of a pack near the boundary line, pretty much next to the interchange gate. You could sense the crowd building up to a holding-the-ball decision, when he seemed to surge, rugby-like, over the line and hence cause a throw in. Could only admire the mix of nous and strength to do that ...

Winners are grinners (and I'm grinning like a fool). Losers can talk as much rubbish as they want to smooth the burn

hahah 10 pages, not getting through that! All I have to say is that is the best defensive effort I have probably ever seen from a melbourne side, 69 inside 50s for 10 goals, they just would not let them pass.. we are going to beat a SLoad of sides if we can keep that up

Some more gold from Bomberblitz:

"I'd call it the worst loss of the modern era. Even worse than all the other Melbourne losses."

"We should never lose another ******* game to that bottom feeding club. Absolutely sick of this rabble every time we play them."

"Pathetic, and to cap it off I have a broken remote and two fist holes in the wall.

Faark I hate losing to sides we prop up, to think we are footing the bill for the cocksucker Roos infuriates me even more."

"lucky we don't have any draft picks then, I guess."

"What is it now 4 losses in the last 5 games against this pathetic club? We are their *****."

"Wont Melbourne hurry up and fold, sick of those broke pricks embarassing us."

OH, HOW SWEET IT IS!!!

Me and my 10 year old daughter were surrounded by bummer supporters, when they kicked that goal to take lead back he was behind us screaming lungs out and spitting all over us. I got up told him to shut the f%^k up and told me if l didn't like it to go somewhere else. We didn't and when Salem kicked the goal l turned around gave him a look and he was just about crying, it was beautiful..........hate bummer supporters

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
