I agree...I don't rate him as a tagger. I'd rather have someone like Riley or Matt Jones tag, and play Grimes on a half back flank.

We need to stop expecting that Jack Watts will have his 'break out game'. I simply want Jack to become a role player. He will impact games due to his excellent disposal and decision making, but the new MFC is 21 players, 21 roles.

Plus the sub, which, ironically, is the clearest role of the lot.

I reckon Grimes will follow Robbie Gray around pretty closely, he's ranked up there with the best few players in the comp at the minute, and i reckon Cross will run with Boak, Viney and Wines go head to head which imo will be awesome to see, and then Vince, Tyson and Jones will just do their thing.

the really big question for me is how do we stop Port from scoring so heavily simply for us to be in the game.

Port is rightfully on top of the ladder at the moment and we are still struggling down near the bottom. While we have improved, we are still a far way from beating port. They maybe tired after the bruising encounter with the Hawks, they may have some injuries and they may underestimate us but they are still good enough to beat us. The loss of Dawes is a major blow as he did attack the ball and present, the other major downside is we are coming off a bye, and past history shows we have seldom played well after a bye. A lot of things Roos and the team have to deal with, I am hoping to see them put in and continue to show the improvement and tenacity they have been playing with of late.
