Bleeding in the groin - Richard Douglas of the Crows

Oh good lord! That made me grip my pecker with absolute fear that candiru fish might be on the loose in Melbourne. What a horrific affliction.

"...its backwards-pointing barbs would cause excruciating pain at each pull"

Don't think you need much of an excuse to do that Moonie.

Something that a hawthorn teammate told me once happened to Dermie on an end of season trip, after a vigourous session with a young lass.

No joke here.

Heard same thing from very well connected Hawk. She was on end of bed and end of Dermie, slipped off backwards, bad break which can require surgery to repair although not in Dermie's case to my knowledge.

Not sure about surgery, but he did end up in emergency that night!

End of season trip, so he had plenty of time to recover.

His poor roommate was trying to get some sleep in the bed next to them & next thing he knew he was in a waiting room!

Good story to hear from the man himself.

,

Apparently Dermie leapt headlong from the foot end of the bed on to his little friend, but didn't quite clear the horizontal bar at the end of the bed with his undercarriage.

I'm told it's not a unique accident for show pony cassanovas!

You'll know all about bleeding in the groin Bitty after your 'procedure'.

Ha Ha Ha! You've actually made a joke Moon. Very funny. However, I'm consoling myself with the image of multiple nurses having attacks of the vapours when they get a look at my masculine groin.

i thought it was one of those ink-blot puzzles

Good point DC. During my countless sessions of therapy I pondered many of Rorschach's artistic works. I described them all as looking like .... er ...well ... genitalia. I was never pronounced as cured.

Spelling thanks to DC

Not if it's consistent with your avatar Bitty.

Legless Frog.

Cheap tasteless drop of mass produced plonk made in WA by a computer nerd with a flat dull finish.

Named after its dunny loving creator.

If that's a groin I need some serious re-education ..... and therapy.

ah ha, but the injury occurred on the other side of that leg, BBO... bleeding just bleeds, drains down. I'll leave it up to you, to visualise what bad bleeding may look like in someones groin. but I don't know if its been caught on camera?

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
