Just had a listen to Captain Jack's 3AW interview, The boys just seem so much happier and more relaxed. It certainly looks that way a training.

I agree with Gerard Healy's comments introducing Jack that he played a great game on Friday against the Tiges. His defensive work was first class as was his run out of defence. He seemed to be moving freeer that in the past and had more zip about him than I remember.

This may be the year we see what this young man can do, I certainly hope so.

I liked his game also. His ability to think his way out of trouble is top notch and i love that Roos has him back where he plays his best footy.

Good interview, sounds pretty relaxed and very positive. Talked about the game plan and it seems that the players get what Roos is after. Said Roos had taught it to them in blocks.

Also was asked about trenners and says he is fresh and in great space.

I'm loving how positive everyone at the club sounds. I'm feeling the love!

Yes, Jack is a beauty! Just hope his body continues to hold up so that he can strut his stuff. He's had a horror run with injury. Would be so nice if that could all be behind him.

I thought his run from defence was great, especially through the centre square early on and delivering inside 50. I don't remember him being so quick!

Big year ahead I hope

I have been saving for two years he is a great Half Back.

Not a Mid fielder, I know we had no one but he was crucified in that role.

If they leave him at HB there is a lot more of that to come in 2014

Agree OD. Love him running out of defence. Hope he can play a full season though - he's had some shitfull injury probs.

If most improved is the difference between last year and this years impact excluding injury or first year at Dees then Trengove and Strauss for me.

should be healthy competition for the small defender/half back with Strauss, Terlich and Clisby

Don't get me wrong I love Grimesy and have everything crossed that he has an awesome season. But his clangers and turnovers are holding him back from being the elite player he should be. I just hope, hope, hope he can grow out of them.

It's interesting that we got him at pick 14 because of his back problems and without them he was touted as a top 4 pick. It looked like a steal if he could come good physically. It looks like he has come good, I'm really looking forward to seeing the pick 4 performance we are hoping to get from him.

I'm with you.

Love lots about his game - just needs to tidy up his finish.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
