S.R.J 418 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Old Dee you are right. We need to have a joke every now and then. It is what keeps me sane. IDAD, take a chill pill. When I read his comments I thought exactly what Old Dee posted. Now people take a big deep breath and relax.
ILLDieADemon 804 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Take a deep breath IDAD it was a little joke sorry you did not see the humour in it. I still think it was funny when discussing a car retailer. or perhaps he ws making a little light humour....something I sense you ought to partake of !! I come on the website to discuss about the team I love with fellow demons supports. I am sick a tired of getting picked on about my poor spelling. Its only humorous it the person you are picking on finds it funny otherwise its bullying. Read the comment and move on.

beelzebub 23,392 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Maybe I'm just over getting bullied on this website.mate your reaction was unecessarily harsh. We all get razzed.
ILLDieADemon 804 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 mate your reaction was unecessarily harsh. We all get razzed. What's unnecessary is pointing out a spelling error in someones comment instead of commenting about the topic.
daisycutter 29,999 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 What's unnecessary is pointing out a spelling error in someones comment instead of commenting about the topic. od wasn't correcting your spelling he just asked if "brake" was a pun given the automotive connection a freudian slip perhaps? hardly bullying old chap, lighten up a bit and have a laugh
rpfc 29,017 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Someone correcting spelling is not bullying - that is laughable. Jonah form Summer Heights High would accuse 'miss' of bullying for pointing out his spelling mistakes. That's how laughable it is.
old dee 24,075 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Oh God can we get back to the sponsor Seems like we have a good one for a nice change.
rjay 25,423 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Oh God can we get back to the sponsor Seems like we have a good one for a nice change. It is good 'old dee' and hopefully a sign of things to come. For a change there is a good feel about the club.
Lucifers Hero 40,707 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 At the B&F Bartlett has announced that this sponsorship has been extended Assume details will be announced later. Great news and another step on off-field stability!

Great news and another step on off-field stability! Hope they've signed a 20 year deal and AHG becomes synonymous with Melbourne like Carlsberg became synonymous with Liverpool.
Lucifers Hero 40,707 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 At the B&F PJ flagged that AHG would sign on for another contract. It seems to be getting close to finalisation: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/melbourne-in-advanced-talks-for-new-deal-with-major-sponsor-ahg-20161027-gsc9kv.html "An extension of the partnership with AHG would continue a strong month for the club. The Demons began October by securing the contract extension of young spearhead Jesse Hogan until the end of 2019...Melbourne were then a key player during the recent trade period, stunningly landing the signature of Hawthorn veteran Jordan Lewis..." Another element of off-field stability to help strengthen our club. I really like how all the off-field teams from PJ, to admin to recruiting etc are quietly going about their business. So, no distractions for the players. Just let them be the best they can be (and get us to finals!)

jnrmac 20,339 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Tried to buy a Hyundai using the Melbourne FC connection/discount but in the end they were uncompetitive. Just sayin...

Just sayin... I would say as a Melbourne member you're only obligation with them being a sponsor is that you have them in your considerations when you look at buying a new car. If the price doesn't match what your expectations are then it is what it is.

La Dee-vina Comedia 17,136 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I'm glad they're on board again, but I can't really understand the marketing logic of it for AHG. It's not like AHG is a retail brand. But if they're happy, I'm ecstatic.

#11-TonyAnderson 868 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Gave them a go as I was looking for a new Kia. I'm based out of Geelong, wasn't much use trying to deal with their one dealer based in Frankston!
