Maybe it will become button up with a lapel. Streamline costs, get rid of blazer and previous guernsey and replace with MFC dinner jacket or smokers jacket. Like it PJ.

Confirmed by the club that the stars are gone. So too the ridiculous collars.

The Schwab cleansing is almost complete.

yeah interested to see the link

thank goodness the look of failure is gone!

Fair enough.

Not sure I agree with the need to rid the club of any Schwab influenced change, but I'm really ambivalent on these changes.

I did speak to quite a few opposition supporters who liked them.

Won't make any difference to me.

I'm assuming the reply came to you as I had to dig a bit deeper to find it. Guess they are sewing on new sponsor labels before official launch

I hope they are not wasting more money on graphic designers to help 'evolve' the jumper again.

Just get the blue right, put red above it, and let's try and win some games.

I honestly stopped caring about the collars and stars a few embarrassing losses ago.

Having the logo on the front was the main bit that made the guernsey look as though it was bought at the Preston Market. Hopefully that's gone too.

I agree rpfc surely it is not that hard. Just give us the simple Red and blue jumper we had pre CS.

Then start winning games.

Having said that I have to have a winge

Never liked stars on collars, new emblems, pink reds, maroon reds or bloody 19th century blazers.

I like the MFC logo/crest. It stamps us as who we are. I actually didnt mind the stars thing but if they go they go. Just make the jumper comfortable to wear, collar or none...not fussed personally.

The most important aspect for the 2014 jumpers is company A on front and company B on back !!

Get the colours right for sure but whenever people talk about the collar, the stars, the emblem, the blazers, et al I just picture a playground at a school where everyone is playing footy except for the Dees supporting kid who is in the sandpit playing dress up and having a cry.

If we r winning no one will give a rats two cheeks what the guernsey looks like.

Winning solves nearly everything.

Ah to dream!!!!

I tend to agree with you but I could not swallow Pinks and Maroons

So long as it's the proper red and blue, that's all that's truly important.

Whilst I consider the collars and the stars 'classic Schwab', I couldn't have cared less if we'd kept them or scrapped them. So long as the red and blue are OK.

As long as it is navy blue with the red yoke I don't give two stuffs.

Far too much hand wringing over collars, stars and emblems, in the general scheme of things they aren't overly important.

Fix the big things and the small things will fix themselves.

The main issue I have always had with the current jumpers is their cut.

Schwab wanted a "Gladiatorial" look but the problem is they looked quite bulky and the fit was awful.

I really liked the Gladiator style the jumper had. I actually quite liked the star idea too, but I feel that it needed to be introduced once we won a flag. Not when we are on the bottom.

I like the emblem, but it doesnt need to be on the jumper.

Also, I would like to see us keep the emblem in some form but not use it as a logo. If that makes sense.

Edit : Those blazers can p!ss right off. As can that weird thing with putting a flag up at the home game.

Instead of the blazer , how about a red and blue safari suit and compliment it with an MFC logo'd pith helmet?

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
