Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

Sounds like the MFC tanking outcome:

Hird and Bomber will hang - despite there being no proof of players taking illegal drugs

What a joke - Watson and others admitted it!

No evidence being in the form of 'no one kept records' absolute crap. Since these important documents were conveniently shredded we must assume all players took it. This rubbish about ASADA said this and WADA said something else is crap, if you are unsure you check.

I told you bb

Sorry but I can't stand people that go around saying "I told you so"

If I had the time to look through all the threads I bet I could find you saying otherwise at some moment.

No one knew anything - just like the Scully saga (but apparently everyone knew about that..)

cut OD some slack my young Paduwan :)

If the players are all banned do Zaharakis and Goddard become free agents having not been injected?

if so 700k each to join the red and blue army ;)

... just because the weapon thinks some players were not injected, doesn't mean that he's right.

lets see what happens, but I think the proof will evaporate re the players.... & anyway, the instigators of this regime of enhancements, should go down like an anchor off the shelf.

Search away YD

But I can save you the time, your search will be fruitless however you will find lots of comment from people saying I was wrong.

It was obvious that the EFC has been confident for months the players would have little answer.

The problem is lots of Demonlanders wanted the Bombers destroyed and this coloured their judgement.

They only took in the evidence that suited that position.

I am fine bb i can defend myself.

You know that old saying winners are grinders and the rest can please themselves.

That's how i saw it as well OD. Ie., a managed/massaged outcome.

Keep the "team" in the game with some sort of penalty, outside of preventing the club from participating in the rest of the season.

I also suspect if any penalties are laid, that their nature might well allow thoses charged to resume their roles before the beginning of next season.

Send out the bad cop (legal announcement/show serious face & possibly a reasonably serious outcome on the surface), but in the end a fairly moderate outcome for all.

Nicely managed so far. Steady as she goes from Vlad & the boys.

So when does the fun begin?

WADA will still charge more.

This is just stage 1.

If WADA is in dispute with ASADA over the categorisation of AOD etc that could take years and be just too hard WYL. Even if WADA eventually wanted to penalise individuals The AFL and/or the Bombers could then argue against it in court, quite possibly successfuly, under "natural justice" alone given the delay.

Red you might wish to comment on this aspect if you're about?

I hope youre right but I smell a white wash.

WADA won't like this. Charges will come to the players

I bet Chief sitting bull went over the waters to pow wow with The WaDa Tribe, to outline the 'story of a very sad times', when Tatonka were aplenty, & hunting was quick & clean, before the fleeing Tatonka shyte hit the ground.

whilst there with the WaDa tribe, the renowned rogue warrior A-rod was ordered from the village, whilst all tribes people watched on.

sitting bull was said to be very interested in the outcomes of these tribal trials, & was keen to listen to the fellow Chiefs stories of how things should be. & would be. the tribes wise men were sort for their wisdoms & directions.

..... sitting bull was seen reflecting on the 'story of a very sad times' on his journey homeward...

And the gratuitous EFC Intranet hardware changes which were made with the departure of Dr Dank might have obscured ample data relating to individual banned drug usage. Good luck though finding a hard drive with eight .50 cal holes in it at the bottom of the Maribyrnong.

So Wada and Asada can still press charges of their own? is that correct?
