I don't support this regime. I support the MFC.

I want action this week or not one more $$$ they shall get.

It's over Don. Will you be paying the $500,000 fine?.

Tanking is what got us in this putrid mess.

Give CS a call he may be able to pitch in...

It seems fairly clear that the job of a caretaker coach is to rebuild relationships between the playing list and the coaching staff. Neeld has lost the list. He will go either now or at the end of the season. If it is after round 23 we may lose Frawley, Watts, Sylvia and who knows who else. If we are in a rebuilding phase now it will be worse if that happens. Removing the coach now gives the list some breathing time, keeping him on ensures its continued disruption, even destruction.

Tomorrow would be good.

Earlier if at all possible.

Not that is a real coach. Thats how a real man speaks. Absolutely disgusted at a 1 point loss.

Polar opposite to Neeld, and then some.

Hilarious. On the North site, 100 bucks says they are bagging Scott for failing to get enough men behind the ball or for not making his team mentally strong.

Tomorrow is when I would do it. Get the players to rethink their futures now, because at the moment I would guess their managers have already decided that their value is just plummeting at this outfit. And if we are worried about the cost, we will have plenty of money if we keep him because we won't have to pay Frawley, Sylvia et al.

i couldn't give a flying f about North. They should be on the Gold coast

The MFC have far bigger problems.

Back on topic - I watched Chip and then the interview with Trengove. I spent a fair bit of time in my 20's in a war zone, and worked with a number of vets from WW2. I am oldish.

Look at their eyes. These kids look like some people do in the early stages of PTSS.

What The Inept One is doing to these young men with his public negativity and losing mentality is unacceptable.

He will destroy these blokes if we don't get rid of him forthwith.

Come on. I've looked like that after a long run. What you saw was exhaustion after 2 hours of physical activity, compounded by the disappointment of losing. To compare it to PTSS is probably overkill.

It's about time the players and Neeld stopped playing this charade. The are insulting everyone not least the supporters and financial backers of this club. Cut the khrap

I suffered through most of the match telecast which wasn't nearly as painful once I turned the sound down. Dwayne Russell was doing my head in!! Never offers anything constructive just seems to delight in bagging Melbourne for some perverse reason. Takes a lot of courage to belt someone when they are down!

......and don't you love ex Demon G Healey's comment about Freo playing a dope on a rope game (or something similar but meaning the same). Thanks for nothing. Stay away from our Club and Nate Jones.

Not overkill at all... it's just plain laughable.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
