I wish to clear the air...
For those who have accused Satyriconhome and Doctor Who of being the same person, this clearly isn't the case. The good Doctor has fought Satyriconhome in a previous adventure as this picture clearly demonstrates. He was no doubt an enemy that was just as annoying to correspond with as a dalek. His main power was to convince those around him of his awesomeness by mentioning how he volunteers at the club and to pretend that he was smarter than he actually was.
Alas like the daleks, he returns constantly even though we are convinced that he has been destroyed. In this photo, he wasn't wearing his special MFC volunteer's tank top. I believe the Doctor stripped him from it as a punishment.
P.S. Sorry WYL. That's my last dig. I also appreciate that Saty will reply with his witty, socially informed commentary but I promise I wont. ;)Doctor-Who-The-Day-of-the-Troll-716319.j

mate we have been a crap side for longer than 1 year.

I don't think you realize the seriousness of a CEO that is sent to the club via the AFL.

Jackson will do a lot more than read the Books.

Neeld has had 1 year and 5 games to turn everything around........If the ALF is now running the club I will resign my membership....And never renew....I support the Melbourne Football Club......Not the AFL.....It is unconstitutional for the AFL to interfere with my club without me having a vote........Who is paying his wage????.....I'm sure the MFC is paying for his services... Sorry wrong thread....

The AFL have sanctioned Jackson make no mistake. With a $1.2 Billion Broadcast deal in progress HQ will want to know exactly what is going on at the MFC.

Right or Wrong it is the reality. Personally i am all for it. The club is not being run properly for whatever reason. Beating GWS at the 'G will not fix the place.

Heads are going to roll. Strap yourself in BD.

I can say that you took off your suit and revealed your true colours, ie bagging volunteers, nice, it was nearly funny, for you anyway, and you would certainly know about trolling.......I'll mark this down as 'He who throws stones"

There are lots of posters on here who seem threatened by me, that is very very very sad, anyway back behind your keyboards

You are missing the proviso some people. At least this post shows a bit more self awareness. You say the media feeds on negativity, yet earlier in the thread you pot the Ox for his addiction. You seem unaware of or have dismissed the genetic components and neurobiological changes that make the experience of addiction different for many people. Thus it is easier for some to quit than others. Someone who can stand up and say I got through this would be very helpful I would have thought.

Misquoted again, I didn't pot the Ox, I said that he is not to be viewed as a 'hero' for beating his addiction, but never mind, WYL will be hoping the new CEO has got him on the phone as I type this, or whoever now is the flavor of the day on here to rescue the Club

He didn't bag the coach

he said he doesn't think he will be there in 2014

Which is what everyone thinks unless they are retarded

Sorry, not having a go at you per ce and perhaps the anti-PC brigade will have a go at me, but I really do find that offensive.

As for the bagging the coach bit, I'm pretty sure that he would have known anything "controversial" he said would be picked up buy every journalistic vulture within earshot... so in a way, he was setting Neeld up for a lot on unwanted "publicity".

did you bother to watch the 27 minute I/V with David?

The Ox has never been "Flavour of the Month"

He possesses the same passion for the MFC as Jimma & by christ that is what is needed right now.

The club has gone cold.

WYL in your opinion, my point he needs to turn those words into action, no matter how minor, still waiting to see it

CFB, nice to see you are at least following my lead with making this board for entertainment purposes only, your only contributions being either snide remarks, attempted humour and graphics.......you remind me of the old Northern Working Mens Club comedians, no conversation just one or two liners, as long as you are amused

CFB is fun to play with, a battle of wits with an unarmed man

Running reports that take eons to generate helps with prioritising

Interestingly tweeted him yesterday about joining us last night to do the ring around trying to get members back on board, thought him ringing might get a few more, minor but important, but he didn't show

I'm fairly certain the man has less time on his hands than you.

But hey, you got another plug in for yourself.

Yawn.

It depends on what is important really doesn't it, you finding it tiresome that some people take action rather than just continually emit hot air, understandable you post on here along with some of the other posters who seem threatened by me, next Monday if you want to join in, I'm having a break

Keep saying I am all for ex players getting on board, had some really good chats with Robbo, waiting for the Ox to announce what he is going to do, am I in for a long wait?

You are probably right, but more so, it looks like he isn't a big user of twitter, but I hope he gets a proper invite to join the volunteers. Start small David, it would be great if he came on a Monday or Tuesday evening, it could help get a few more members and it would really gee up the volunteers whose jobs are getting harder as the season goes on to have a club champion like David come and help out.

I have no argument with that other than to say that a high profile, club champion like the Ox will have many demands on his time.

Like any valuable resource he should be used wisely, and in the capacity that will yield the greatest return for the club and also suit him.

It's not for us to demand where he start and if left to demonland posters he would already be manning the phones, running the FD and club president.

This should in no way insinuate that the work you all do to canvass lapsed members is anything less than invaluable.

Not sure how you can take anything that I have said as demanding in the smallest possible way!

Gee RGRS you got a polite answer, perhaps it is your polite approach, perhaps I could try that, nah sorry can't do it.

Most are "gifs" so the URL of them can just be pasted in the "image button" in the 'Reply to this topic' dashboard.

Youtube videos can be posted by pressing the "code button (< >)" and then doing:

[ youtube ] YOUR YOUTUBE VIDEO URL [ /youtube ] (no spaces)

I like "gifs" because i find "text" to be so stale and unable to portray the emotion, tone and (obviously) facial expression required when discussing topics, especially if you want to get a certain point across.

Emoticons are ok, but gifs are much better in assisting with this.

Plus they are bloomin' funny.

Hope that helps!

I'll give it a try TFS.

No wonder i couldn't get them working.

Thanks for the run down. Much appreciated ... Cheers

You must really need a lie down after spending an hour or two coming up with such scintillating posts, don't know what we would do if we didn't have your contributions, shudder to think
