The most important thing we as supporters can do is turn up tomorrow and show our support.

Nothing will lift the players more than a huge showing of supporters.

Go Dees.

I have a premiership reunion at my local footy club that I will either attend for 10 mins or not at all to go to see the Dees on Sat. Will I regret not catching up with a great bunch of blokes who I love playing in a flag with to go to see MFC play footy?

I have gotten over my shock, despair and outrage. I will be there.

Unfortunately there is a possibility we are looking at the last days of the Melbourne Football Club.

If that happens, I don't want to look back in a few years and know that I deserted them at the death.

If it doesn't happen it will mean we have survived because we managed to turn things around.

Either way, it will be profound and I do not want to miss it.

Go to the reunion mate.

I'll be at the G after contemplating a few weeks off after last Saturday. After the forced resignation of Schwab which I had argued for I think st only fair that I now rock up this week to support the club. I also feel this is when our support counts the most when the team is down on the canvas and getting smacked from all sides. I'll be there to yell "Get up Rock" and if we get smashed I'll be the one yelling "You're a tomato" and ordering another drink at the bar.

Yes, I think you will.

My first year I had a membership with this club was 1981, for those old enough they may remember Rd.3, a win by one point at the whitten Oval. I still have fond memories of that game and the atmosphere(not quite as good as the Whitten Oval in 1987). It turned out to be our only win for the season. It is easy to follow a team when they are flying, the true supporters show their support when the team is struggling. I will be there tomorrow, hoping that the DEES can start to turn things around.

US President John F Kennedy delivered his only only inaugral at 12:51 Friday, January 20, 1961

it included the following

" And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country."

And so we should ask not what our club can do for us but what can we do for our club in these testing times.

I will be there until the end and so will the group thats going with me.

Go Dees

Look Pal, I have been a supporter of this Club for 60 years and I don't rock up to every game, but to say only a true supporter turns up when its all gone to Rats droppings is bull dust. we all contribute in many ways whether it be through your attendance at major debacles or you financially contribute with memberships. i wont be there tomorrow but will be there next week bringing my very aged mother, and , by the way , every time I have dragged her in we have always won handsomely and she is actually a Carlton supporter, well , I am not going to take her there am I!!!

No its been 50 years of mostly heart ache and if I didn't have another life I would have gone stark staring crazy!!

See where you're coming from but don't entirely agree. I'd love for every Dees supporter to turn up at all times, but would prefer a member who is absent over a non-member who turns up more often.

Agree with you here demonique, whilst supporting your team through appearance is very important, being a paid-up member is even more important to the club.

IMO the definition of 'supporter' is being a member of the club and no less. Those who are not, are just fans.

My town is celebrating its centenary tomorrow, something that clearly only comes around once in a lifetime. I will be at the game, foregoing some of the celebrations, but if we are getting thumped I will not feel any compunction about leaving early so I don't miss the parade - once in a lifetime, or a round 3 game? Hmmmm.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
