Can anyone tell me what our CEO is really trying to say on page 3?

It is a very strange thing to write at the end of such a turbulent season....

I love & respect our history but it is time to create modern history.

I have just read it twice. Very strange.

I agree wyl I did not comment up till now because there have been enough negatives around in 2012.

However Even though I lived through some of that glorious history I am over the preoccupation with it.

In between there has been 40 years of crap.

Lets concentrate on future glory's.

The thing to understand is, we basically operate as a "charity". We rely on people putting money in in a similar way, and having had close experience with the PR dept of one of Australia's largest charities I can tell you that you need to understand that things like the magazine would be part of our budget for raising money. So instead of looking at it as purely a cost, it's actually a key element in producing income for the club.

Correct you will probably find that the advertisements in the magazine actually pay more than the cost of printing and distribution, I like the mag and can't be bothered reading most of the emails I get, mainly at work where I have other things to do like post on here.
