Bulldogs' pick 6

Featured Replies

Doggies are pretty close to being just as bad as we were last year, the main difference being they won our game.

They have picks 5 + 6 and we could use one, while the doggies could use a forward line.

Martin + petterd + sylvia + pick #20 for pick # 6

One mobile big man, one marking medium tall and a classy flanker/ mid type

Maybe wishful thinking but it fills some of their needs and other than sylvia the others are easy replaced

sylvia would be a loss but to get something good you must give something good

Dont reckon, lets keep pick 4, back in Neeld to Get more out of Sylvia, Keep Petterd up our sleeve for Dawes deal, and have Martin as our CHB this year.

I think I may Ban myself for 2 weeks , so i don't have to keep reading posts like this.

Ahh...that would be a NO!

Not a wise move at all.

Considering we still have pick 4 also.

Why do people want to trade the Pet Turd?

I thought olisik was bad, lol that is the worst proposal I have ever heard!

I'd offer them Martin and Petterd for pick 6 though.

Pretty sure they'd tell us to get stuffed though!

You know your suggestion is bad when Olisik starts paying out on you.

PS. Please keep trade proposals to existing threads instead of creating new threads; much appreciated...ie. "Latest murmururings of a crazy time"...kind of fits the description.</p>

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
