You must be a very, very slower typist.

If memory serves, Watts ran for us a few years ago. 09? Martin 08? Who knows, who ca....

Hopefully we unveil our new Chinese recruit

Jack Watts is our fastest player over 100. FACT!

You obviously do or you wouldn't of opened the post.

that was simply outstanding. what an awesome performance

He'd get a cracking assessment in the Casey players review on that performance.

"Tries hard, just needs to find a bit more consistency. A big pre-season will stand him in good stead for 2013".

Can't fault his determination and he didn't get the wooden spoon either.

I reckon he's a smokey; rookie list him and two seasons with Neil Craig he'll be good to go as an in and under mid fielder.

But I bet Craig wouldn't have thought of THE GREATEST MARRIAGE PROPOSAL EVER.

Lynden Dunn is running by the looks of it.

So can we close this pointless thread now?

B)

Dont suppose for a moment we might have a BOLTer ?? ;)

Hope that made your day Jonesbag, you can go about your day now that the interesting part is over hey mate

It's still 2012. A bad finish for a bad year but as has been typical for 2012, we didn't really have our fastest sprinters available.

Lynden Dunn is never going to worry Usain Bolt with or without the mo.

i was joking...

Lol did you really get on here to have a crack at me for starting this thread as soon as the grand final sprint was over?

For the record I went about my day having a few drinks and socializing with my mates. Hope your day was as fun sitting behind a computer being a [censored], wondering why nobody came to your party?

Hope you partied hard for the grand final sprint, it sure was the sports and social event of the year wasn't it... woohoo good times

On topic, Danger's effort in the final was Boltesque. Never looked troubled.

Would've liked to see how Blease went.

Honestly, who care about the Grand Final sprint, as they never take it seriously anyway...

Just like the VFL, running that6 down.

The Grand Final sprint is up there with world championship wrestling.

Ah , remember the days when Geoff Ablett ALWAYS jumped the gun AND won and our very own Rhino Richards was a good thing for the drum !

“Max Gawn has been the heart and soul of the Dees for years now, but this recent recovery from a terrible start has been driven by him. He was everywhere again, and with the game in the balance, he took several key marks to keep the ball in the Dees forward half.” - The Monday Knee Jerk Reaction: Round Ten Of course, it wasn’t the efforts of one man that caused this monumental upset, but rather the work of the coach and his assistants and the other 22 players who took the ground, notably the likes of Jake Melksham, Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver and Kozzie Pickett but Max has been magnificent in taking ownership of his team and its welfare under the fire of a calamitous 0-5 start to the season. On Sunday, he provided the leadership that was needed to face up to the reigning premier and top of the ladder Brisbane Lions on their home turf and to prevail after a slow start, during which the hosts led by as much as 24 points in the second quarter. Titus O’Reily is normally comedic in his descriptions of the football but this time, he was being deadly serious. The Demons have come from a long way back and, although they still sit in the bottom third of the AFL pack, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel as they look to drive home the momentum inspired in the past four or five weeks by Max the Magnificent who was under such great pressure in those dark, early days of the season.

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.

Just a game and percentage outside the Top 8, the Demons return to Melbourne to face the Sydney Swans at the MCG, with a golden opportunity to build on the momentum from toppling the reigning premiers on their own turf. Who comes in, and who makes way?
