You know I like your style RR, but seriously mate, what can we do? You can say "enough is enough", stamp your feet and demand list culls, but how are we meant to influence this change in any meaningful way?

We can protest through not paying memberships and not turning up to matches. Actions such as this only hurt the club in the long run.

We can write to the club expressing how we feel about the current situation, but that's hardly going to bring about any revelations internally.

It's not a matter of accepting, it's more a matter of realising that we as supporters can only do so much. The club's actual direction is something we have very little influence over at all.

Don't be put off by the status-quo merchants who say we are pi$$ing in the wind. Write letters, post on forums, call radio stations, speak to your MFC supporting friends.

Many posters on this forum make excuses for players week-in week-out '45. Year-in, year-out.

People excuse poor skills, half-hearted efforts, white-flag hoisting, poor fitness, the list goes on and on. 90 losses in 120 games, most without a whimper.

This can't go on anymore. These players who have sullied the red and blue jumper must go.

The problem needs to be acknowledged and brought into the open. I don't care if I am ridiculed for doing it by supporters who can't bear the truth.

Actually Pass..IMO Melbourne's list isn't poor. Not great but not poor. Put Goddard on a HBF, Boak in the Guts and Clokey down with Clark. Clark/Jamar and Gawny back not to mention LJ (fingers and toes crossed) all of a sudden the list looks more than OK.

Mate it is in the open - I don't think you will find an MFC supporter in the entire world who will tell you we have a good list.

You are just continually shoving it under peoples noses unnecessarily. Changes will be made, so just have a bit of patience for a few months.

It is worse than poor at the moment. They are some big names and of course it will look a lot better with players like that, but getting all three of those guys is not really feasible, but we can dream! Hopefully with some good drafting, sensible delistings and trading and a couple of free agents we can turn it around pretty quickly.

So our list is OK we just need a bunch of players from other clubs who we will never get to make it better and need an injury prone giant and a freakish forward who may never play again to cement their roles and we'll be well on our way.

I agree that subtle change can work but I think we have to be more brutal, a la Hardwick and Richmond a couple of years ago. Enjoy the red.
