1. green - Farewell champ.

What game were you watching?! Spencer was possibly the worst on the ground! He was totally uncompetitive in the ruck and a hack around the ground. Sam Jacobs pulverised him all day.

I'm being mean here, but that's the worst decision to award votes I've ever seen on this website.

Being at the game and not watching on TV might result in differing opinions but my votes would be:

6- Sylvia- Clearly the best in a team getting smashed

5- Jones- Is an absolute workhorse

4- Howe- the only marking target we had all day

3- Sellar- given he played a bit of everywhere i thought he performed most roles well but for one horrible shot at goal

2- Blease- the only bloke who looks remotely dangerous in the forward line

1- Tapscott- a lot of hard efforts and strong marks today

And the 5 votes from red and blue forever were a typo.

6.Sylvia

5.Jones

4.Howe

3.Peter Sellars

2.Jordie

this is the hardest week for me, clearly we have clocked off for the season already

6- Sylvia

1- Blease (take the blinkers off sam)

Have you ever seen "The Magic Christian" a complete Sellars classic that few know.

Was almost considering just giving Green 21 votes and letting the farce end, however, upon reflection....

6. Sylvia - stood up against a good team for a change.

5. Jones - absolute hard nut. Just doesn't give up.

4. Sellar - would've had the 6 if he could kick.

3. Howe - give this man a preseason and he could be anything, providing he hasn't killed himself flying to take a grab.

2. McKenzie - niggler. Love the way he goes about it.

1. Bail - just for starting a few fights.

6. Sylvia

5. Jones

3. Sellar

1. Tapscott

And I feel really sorry for the defenders. The midfield and half- forward line were absolutely smashed so the backline was under siege all day/night.

6. Sylvia

5. Bail

4. Jones

3. Grimes

2. Blease

1. Howe

the fact there are plenty of votes for Blease illsutrates how shizen we are. FCS he has a shot at goal every time he touches the ball, which is rarely, and he misses all of them

6 Luke Tapscott

3 Brent Moloney

1 Aaron Davey

Sad that Clark for his ten or so games is still in fourth.

6. Sylvia - NOW get out his back, Col is vital for 2013 and beyond.

5. Jones - my 6-yr old son loves Jonesy grunt and desire for the footy.

4. Sellar - a good #53 draft pick. Versatile as a key fwd or back

3. Howe - puts a smile on my face. Great mark and agile. A big pres season and watch out.

2. Grimes - got better over the last few weeks. Now lets see a full season and an ability to run the loines again.

1. Dunn - has found a spot in defence. Now a versatile option in our list.

minus 6 : Spencer. 9% hitouts to advantage, that's 2 out of 21. In fact, half his taps went direct to the Crows midfield.

Jacobs was in their best 5. We lost the centre square and clearances.

6. Sylvia - stood up against a good team for a change.

You have a very short memory, Col Sylvia's best games for the club have been against Collingwood and Hawthorn and he always plays well against these two clubs. You watch every game, the games he plays well are the games he spends most his time in the midfield, hopefully he gets a full pre-season no injuries through the year.

I'm surprised with Dunn getting votes. I thought he looked good in the first quarter but really struggled when the pressure was on (and in defense of the backmen, it was really on big time after half way through the second quarter). He seemed lost and unaccountable to me and had some poor disposals. I admit I've never been a Dunn fan but while he was not the worst yesterday, I didn't think he was in the top 15.

These would have been my votes if I had arrived home before the cutoff:

6. Sylvia: building a bit of consistency late in the season

5. Jones: worked his butt off, as usual

4. Howe: becoming more than just a highlights reel

3. Sellar: a solid target up forward

2. Grimes: another sound performance

1. Tapscott: perhaps the best of the rest

Curry n Beer, you have failed to see development in Blease. That was his best game for the club to date because he played well in the second half... running the game out. He had more involvements than in any game to date (not just a flashy goal here and there). There were also numerous occasions when he put himself in good position to receive and go but team mates chose to ignore him. Yes, he blazed away on a few occasions bu tso does Milne. The development in Blease has been a highlight of the final month of the season... you just can't see it. Stick around!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
