There's nothing to get over, he's not a player worth paying highly for, and he won't reach lofty heights like a top pick should.

It's simply a case of just not liking the little [censored], and having a bit of fun discussing how average he is.

This is footy, we've been giving it to opposition players for years, as if a soulless, lying scumbag with an abnormally bloated dad is going to be immune from some harsh, yet completely fair comments.

Don't like it? You know the drill.

could it be bluey is one of your multiple personalities?

LOL Thats a NO I'm afraid

I am fond of him though and one of his 1 in 50 was correctly predicting the Sack Neeld thread on Ology by round 10 or 12 in the pre season last year

btw DC you'd go well over on the old Ghost Town if it sees the light of day again

actually not too much of a ghost town

twitterology is in some ways an improvement

proving hard to kill off, reminds me of the monty python knights sword fight

so youre laughing at a hypothetical scenario you are watching n your head

demon or not I have not seen much star potential from him bar that last quarter in the wet against the dogs

Sorry, C&B... hadn't realised I was laughing.

Bluey just loves to stir the pot doesn't he; what surprises me most is that all of a sudden he can spell most of the words in his posts.

Amazing what predictive text can do four spelling!

. Yeh well that would explain RobERtson I guess...I dont know about TRenGRove though.

Are you (and others) still insisting that the MFC didn't have any tests/examinations made of Scully's knee? Are you saying he told the club something along the lines of: "Look, I've got a bit of a chronic knee thingy going on here, so you better give me a rest" and the MFC responded, "No problem Tommy boy... you're our #1 pick, so as far as we're concerned, despite all of the conjecture about your staying or going, your word is good enough for us"?

Sorry, but for me, that just doesn't add up.

They could have tested and examined the knee all they wanted. I had a sore one for years and scans, x-rays showed nothing. Perhaps it was Melbourne being too cautious or caring on the basis they thought the kid gloves would encourage him to stay? Maybe Tom was being too cautious (keep in mind he was on what he would now consider scab wages at the MFC) and he of course had never, ever spoken to anyone at GWS so he would not have wanted to take the cahnce of shortening his career given there was no big pay day coming!

another huge day on Sunday for our favourite son - 5 kicks 12 handballs in a 95 point loss, worth every penny of the minimum 50 grand a game he gets

averages 5.5 kicks a game over the last 4 matches - star

Do I detect a note of joy in your post Curry & Beer?

No I am sure you are distressed at the way this has turned out!

Watched bits and pieces of the game, would not know he was playing for the most part. I did watch the entire last quarter though. GWS put in a spirited but futile effort at the last dig but our boy was pathetic. He had one hacked centre clearance that was repulsed. Two little dinky hand passes. Only one hit the target. And fumbled an easy overhead lead up mark inside 50. Other than that he just hung around outside stoppages waiting for the ball to come out and I didn't see one chase from him. I wonder when Sheedy will have the guts to drop him?

He did the other week but they said he was injured, yeah right.

5 kicks and 7 handballs C & B. Let's not credit the little twerp with 5 touches he didn't earn

I noticed $ully in a skoda advert the other day, dead set I nearly spewed.

First time I'd ever seen him with a smile on his face, it looked weird, like when John Connor tried to teach the Terminator to smile in Terminator 2 directors cut.

Was probably smiling because it was a paid ad I guess.

Funny post - actually, we were just looking at buying one. Not now.

there was someone behind the camera holding up a big bag of cash, or a cup of tea

Half his possesions were changers too.

But he covered the ground so well!

don't forget his physical intimidation and overhead strength

Had he stayed at the Dee's his situation would only be marginally different - apart from his salary.

Tom Scully- one more friggin headache we thankfully don't have to deal with in 2012.

Imagine this horrible year being topped off by Scully's awful form, and supporters slashing their wrists because "he is the worst #1 pick eve!!!1"

They already slash their wrists because Watts "is the worst #1 eve!!1"... the morons! FMD

Whoever came up with the idea of putting him in their ad should get the rrrr's. Brand poison IMO.

He has all the charm and personality of a dead rat in a sh!t sandwich.

I wouldn't buy the last bottle of beer on earth from him.

Let alone a tinny Russian car .

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
