Yes we have got to go into the mini draft to pick this man child up.

I would think we could get him and Martin with our pick 3 and a player for GWS.

Cant see them getting any better then that.

Maybe if we just want Hogan we could trade pick 13.

Then we get viney rnd 2 and have picks 3,4 win win

Please explain - Why you hope the Suns pick him up- that will mean we have to take him with our first pick.Doesn't make sense- unlessI am missing something.

2 scenarios for me.

* Hopefully he doesn't get nominated by either the Suns or GWS, we get him in the 20's.

* Or if he gets nominated I prefer it's the Suns, & we can fight to get him back from them in 2 years. IMO it would be tougher from GWS.

Both these teams need tough inside ball winners.

Im sure all the guys at the club are working very hard for this up coming draft.

I think Todd Viney is in a great position to find the best talent in this draft.

I also think he will go for players that he likes no more skinny weak kids.

He son is a great start for that.

Jack would have a real great idea of who the best players are first hand which would be also very handy for the dees.

Heavens. You'd have to think this means that we won't have to use our 1st round draft pick to get him then.

Ed: if another clubs says they would give pick 1 to 5 for him, they could be considered tampering with the draft.

If he goes to GWS or GC then he is lost to the MFC for good. The idea of a homecoming after 2 years is a ridiculous pipe dream.

how about this would GC be willing to trade pick 1 for picks 3+4, and trade our pick 13 for a mini draft pick would probably get second pick would still land either martin or hogan depends who goes 1, obviously all this would need to be worked out prior to F/S bidding.

so we get whitfield + hogan/martin + viney second round

GC get pick 3+4

GWS get pick 13 and maybe a player aswell.

I really think this draft will be a lot like 2001, where Hodge was a star at number 1, but you still got Ball at 2, Judd at 3, Bartel at 8, Steve Johnson at 24, Swan at pick 50-odd... and on it goes.

I agree with everyone that this would be a good thing for us securing Viney with a 2nd rounder.

Its funny though look back at under 18 AA sides, full of unfulfileld or disapointing players really

careful there Jose.....that wont sit well with the MFCSS version of draft experts/worriers.

Somehow we have to use 3 4 13 to bag at least 6 stars in the waiting as well as Viney, excet of couse the MFCSS DE/W ver 2 who considers JV a cross between an Idaho and a Mashee !!
