Great to hear that we've secured Mitch Clark. But does anyone think that we should still go after Jordan Lisle as a permanent key forward? Because we may want someone down there while Clark's in the ruck. It would be, kind of, like the way Collingwood have Travis Cloke and Chris Dawes. Suggestions...

I wonder now that the Hawks have picked up Gunston, they will be more likely to accept offers regarding Lisle, especially since they have no pick inside the top 50....

I think if available another strong mature mid, or a decent quick crumber would be more important. With Clarke up forward, and probably not doing much ruck work, I expect that Watts, Howe, Jurrah will come on far quicker, and Sylvia may play a more consistent part in the attack.

Baring injuries I cant see Clark doing any ruck apart from in the forward line, I reckon Jamar and Martin will be used in tandem and Clark will be destined to stay inside the forward 50. Now if Jamar went down then Martin would take over with support from Clark.... but lets hope that doesn't happen.

Now that Brisbane has signed him, I think we can let this thread die a natural death.

Lisle was always a bit of a last resort. Clark gives us the forward line size we need. We're fine for tall backs, and no longer desperate for NQR tall forwards via trade.

Brisbane can have him.

Looking at lisle highlights, cant say im to keen on him.

Wouldnt be willing to give much for him.

With all due respect when the guy has played AFL at the top level, why in god's name are you judging him on highlights as an 18 year old 3 years ago. Completely irrelevant.
