Just fantastic. Loved the Geeeelllooonnnnggg chant. Collingwood's 26th grand final loss. Brilliant!

It would be interesting to see how Bomber Thompson feels.

Furthermore, Collingwood will also be interesting to watch next year. All eyes on Buckley. I for one hope he fails dismally.

Great Great Day for Football.

If The Dee's can't stand up there any side that defeats Collingwood is most welcome.

The Colliwobbles are back in town

Chris Dawes stocks really went down with that game (not to mention his less than imposing finals series). You'd have to wonder in a lesser team whether he'd be much good at all.

There are few things in life as sweet as the pies loosing a Grand Final

My year has had some joy after all.

That's a bit harsh... his performance last week was the reason they were even in the GF. He certainly wasn't Robinson Crusoe when it came to Pies players going missing when it mattered. Hawkins played a great game and kicked a brace, but he was still pretty woeful in front of goal when he had the chance to bury them.

I hate watching the Grand Final.

I hate seeing other teams win.

It kills me that I have never experienced that joy of a premiership.

Grand Finals get harder and harder to take every year.

But I love watching Collingwood lose, Eddie cry and Joel Selwood and Jimmy Bartel dominate.

If we are not going to be there on the day, then at least I take comfort in knowing that Collingwood have gone there and failed.

A bit harsh maybe but it was a contest that he needed to impose himself on and at no stage did he.

There's an eagerness among some to trade up for him but I'm not so sure about him.

The cockiness during the year of Thomas and Swan's tweeting, the selfish Malthouse footy show appearance, Heath Shaw's mind-numbing betting stupidity.

Pride >>>> Fall.

* I thought it was notable as well that C.Scott used the word 'humility' to describe the Cats on several occasions before and after the game. Pointed remarks IMO.

When the loser throwing mud at the the loser is loserer than the loser that the loser is throwing mud at makes losing thread.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
