Is it just me or is this guy just a bit of amateur hour.

Jordie's sister did so well the other night and deserves the mantle.

Thoughts.....

I actually think he is painful to listen too. Cringeworthy for a professional organisation.

Is she a journo?

Does it matter that much?....Anyone can write a story...but being a articulate communicator is another thing, one which Matt is not.

Feel free to be constructive to the topic.

There's a bit of Andy Maher about him. But he asks the questions you expect of an inside reporter and writes well. I don't think he's in any danger. If we need to trim back on staff in our communications department then we might be an issue, but otherwise I'm still a Matty B fan.

LOL. So because I have a differing opinion to you I am not being constructive?

Present a constructive thread and I'll try to present you with some constructive feedback..

Till then, stay jolly Golly.

Where was your differing opinion?

You were being condesending but you get that here these days.

Why even bother posting if the thread is not to your liking  whatever

have we seriously run out of Melbourne affiliates to "pay out on" on here?

It wasn't mean't to be a "payout" I think there are better people for the job.

But then again it is amateur hour.

We are currently going though change through all depts.

Give me one good reason why we shouldn't look to better ourselves and why it shouldn't be on the agenda.

So you shouldn't post if you disagree with the thread?

"I only want to argue with people who agree with me."

Pretty boring.

I didn't agree with you, clearly this is a differing opinion. I was not being condescending at all actually.

And I'll have you know I post in threads that I like, and threads that I think are total horse manure. It's my right to choose.

Your first post never offered a opinion.

I understand your point, and i agree with you in the sense that his interview skills leave a lot to be desired but the other media work he does is excellent and we usually have a constant flow of news coming out of the club. Perhaps he and the infamous 'Trumpeter' are related? :)

My opinion was it was a tad harsh, hence didn't really agree with you. Then you threw your rattle on the ground and started stamping your feet.

What do you mean ? Explain.

Get his words mixed up....has brain fades......how many times can a guy say ummmm and hang on to it in one interveiw.

The line of questioning is questionable and without emotion and basic elocution.

Interesting.

I thought Matt's line of questions for interviews including Neeld, all the B&F place getters were ok. He may have had a sherbet or two before the end of the B&F count, who knows ?

Personally, I think the club is lucky to have him. He's no Mal Walden, Peter Hitchener or Tony Jones for that matter. But he's a darn sight better than a Hutchy, better looking than Barrett and delivers better than Aami Parks from Aami Park !

:)

I like him. He's not a flashy media performer but he seems genuine to me.

He's not that comfortable infront of the camera yet, but he's light years ahead of Moloney and Green!

But he excels at being the club's beat writer, which is what he pretty much is.

Burgatron is alright by me.

I think we're lucky to have him.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
