Agony to put my socks on in the morning.Treatment Anti Inflammatories and injections and rest rest rest!!!

I can not imagine playing footy and changing directions  at speed with even a mild case

Thanks K. Have been criticised for the emphasis on rest but it's the only solution. I did not realise that the groin muscle is the centre of every physical action . Have been spreading the message, look after the groin, make sure you stretch and prepare before putting it under load. As I said this comment also always induces ribald comment perhaps suitable for comedic presentation.

Two questions red.

What price?

And is the price overs, unders or a true reflection of rouges points chances?

(Cool name btw).

One more question. Is the derby a group race?

Its an antidote for the wrist wringing and self rightious infighting and plain antagonism. For very little reason. On other threads. Everyone needs an opinion   like everyone needs a bumcrack.

And more often than not    I can smile and even laugh at the jokes and wisecracks, cos on this thread we are all as serious as the late Terry Jones  and always look on the bright side of life.   Go Dees 2020

Vongole stepped in a pot hole last night at Pakenham and that cost him the win.

Unlucky horse with poor rides and minor incidents.

You negative Nellies think we never win anything.

Well according to a thread on DL, Kane Cornes said we have won the Pre Season.

So you guys, how do you like them bananas?

That reminds me Panama Disease has been detected in Tully Qld, potentially threatening 90% of Australia’s crop! It was reported two days ago in The Guardian which I know none of you would read. Thus the heads up. Better stock now.

I thought he was telling Her Majesty where he gets his hair done.

I thought he might be asking if he could visit her in Queensland and bend a banana or two .

  • GAMEDAY: Richmond

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • NON-MFC: Round 7

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
