A round with The Fence in a white HT Holden. The tastes suggest that the girls were all class. Even if you take the Holden or the Fence out of the picture.

And don't get me started with my Sandy Drive in stories!! Some good uns in there as well! Dont worry, Uncle Bitter will top that. I think the closest Romsey ever had to a Drive in theatre was parking your car outside a Retravision store and watching the TV's In the front!

Nah, the Crazy Horse. Cheaper than the Shaft, and they wipe the seats down between each session.

Justin Bieber elicits similar emotion in his audience.

After he performs there is never a dry seat in the house.

There is absolutely little doubt that this thread has been building to an exciting and crescendo over the past few months and reached an exciting moment of climax just before 8:00pm last night as the events at Spotless Stadium unfolded. I am not surprised therefore that nobody has posted here in the interim.

Where have you all been celebrating?

Well Jack as you may have guessed , I was at a prayer group.

dc, I am certain would have been indulging in his Saturday night "hobby" of rogering blue rinsers.

picke fence would be buried in his ongoing stud fantasies that mostly sexualise early model motor cars

I have good information that Moonie is currently in a land far away creating a huge credit card debt

The ever feckless and unreliable Biffen was, I more than suspect, indulging in a cocktail of illegal substances

Earl Hood was at a currently fashionable hipster hamburger joint delicately sipping on what , to most, would be an unpalatable craft beer. Probably brewed from hoarhound and yams.

od was most likely enjoying a free Pinot ( he will deny this and claim supplies are exhausted)

As to Ernie well he would be wrestling with the moral dilemma of whether or not to post on this thread

bb and RL play their cards close to the chest - their whereabouts remain unknown. Although I have heard that RL has more (less) than healthy interest in Redtube.

As more information comes to hand you can be sure I will reveal it

Whilst Uncle Bitter had taken the blades of his ride on mower and instead attached ostrich feathers for a 'Jolly Good Feathering" !!

I doubt very much you have been at prayer group Uncle Bitters, but I do know you spend too much time on your knees.

I have no doubt that certain of the activities detailed in this thread – BBO's in particular, though not exclusively – can be formalised sufficiently to walk off with one of these awards next year.

Hi OD

I had stopped supporting the Eagles way back at the end of the 1998 season and its very unlikely I would ever go back to become a supporter again.

I been away from DL because of the AFL commissions support towards 34 drug cheaters.

As a result, I don't think I have actually watched an entire AFL game all season.

But I did notice the Dees had won 10 games this season as per your prediction, well done!

Next years can you predict a 30 goal win in the Grand Final against the Pies or Hawks (anyone really)?

I know good thinks come to he who waits, but is over 50 years way too long a time?

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
