jnrmac 20,360 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 What a set of wheels this guy has! Can't believe how fast he ran down Melksham in the 3rd quarter. Impressive pace.
Footynut 302 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 +1 He looks very likely...nice build too..... Great to see guys like he and Evans coming through creating more pressure for spots!
bjDee 1,249 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 What a set of wheels this guy has! Can't believe how fast he ran down Melksham in the 3rd quarter. Impressive pace. Saw that up pretty close and it really impressed me. Think he was flanked by Jones also - looked like they were both out to hunt the young Bomber and get a taste of enemy blood.
Akum 2,660 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 What I loved about him, and Evans for that matter, is that they're not afraid to take the game on with their pace. Nicho especially, a number of times he put on the afterburners through heavy traffic.

Jaded No More 68,976 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Great to see young kids coming in and backing themselves. Nicholson looks a touch classier than Evans for mine, but god Evans worked his butt off. He ran constantly to present and spread. Both didn't look at all out of place, and neither did Howe or Gawn to be honest. And for Nicho to come on and play so well after being the sub last week and again this week, was a sensational effort.
#MYHEARTBEATSTRUE 27 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 He is better then the last Nicholson we had!
RalphiusMaximus 6,112 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 I can't believe we got those two as rookies. How did they slip through from the National Draft?
Striker475 696 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 I can't believe we got those two as rookies. How did they slip through from the National Draft? Evans I know - he barely played the last two seasons due to injury. But god, look at him now!
angrydee 842 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 The ammos gave us Junior, and now Nicho. A fertile recruiting area which will increase in importance.
Dappa Dan 2,188 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 He is better then the last Nicholson we had! Wash your mouth out... What is it with the demons and their rookies?
Webber 10,650 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Don't forget his left boot.....which, like Tom Scully's, will find it's measure against the big boys in 10 or so games. He's got all the tricks this boy, we did VERY VERY well in picking he and Michael Evans up.
Gorgoroth 13,215 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Yep Nicho showed a lot of good poise under pressue and the ability to quickly think his way through something and execute it.
Maldonboy38 6,435 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 He is a lot bigger than when I last saw him during preseason. I was very impressed with his intensity and attack (on both ball and player) and he has a physicality like Moloney. I'n not going to make huge statements but he looks so strong. If I compare him to Dunn or Petterd etc... at the least his attack on the contest tonight was very impressive. .
Adzman 2,154 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Nicho and Evans have added a touch of pace to the outfit. Nicho is a tad cleaner than Evans, but Evans is more of an in and under player than Nicho. Both have been selected and added something. I looked at our team on paper and thought we might be too green to beat the bombers, but Evans,Nicho, Gawn and Strauss played like they had done it 100 times before. The Rookie list has been good for this club.
joeboy 3,191 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 The ammos gave us Junior, and now Nicho. A fertile recruiting area which will increase in importance. and Leoncelli
titan_uranus 25,252 Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 A real find. Surprised me with his speed and kicking.
Waltham33 475 Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 looks like a competitor. Strong effort last night.
Guest 36DD Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Absolute ripper, speed, composure, takes the game on, not a fearful second gamer thats for sure. What is most impressive is that he has had an impact as a sub the past 2 weeks. I can count on one hand the number of subs across the competition which have managed to have an impact after sitting on the pine. Reckon he may get a full time gig next week.
