hehehe ... general consensus might have been he was played out of position under Williams, maybe a new/old role under a new coach. Plus probably would be selling him on a down therefore his trade currency would have been low.

Reminds me a little of Sylvia (a lesser version if that). Year after year, always expecting him to become a gun. High draft pick, good skills and doesn't mind a goal. Also inconsistent and injury-prone.

But after almost a decade it's become quite clear he just ain't up to it...

Grossly mismanaged by Port Adelaide, get him back down to his proper playing weight and he can make it, he'd also come very cheaply. Worth a punt imho
