Not a fair comparison. Jurah is three years older. It's like comparing Barlow to Scully. Jurah is looking good, but you cannot compare him to an 18 year old key position player.

great stat. felt our foward line lacked structure second half (against hawks), hopefully he can help add to the structure as well as scoreboard.

I thought some of Jurrahs forays into the mid-field today were exciting and he obviously has the potential (as does Watts I think but to a lesser degree) to be throw into the middle for short periods and provide something different at some stage but no doubt he's best place is in the forward fifty and he needs to polish up those skill first. But yeah great start for him to his career so far

While Jurrah is 3 years older, he has not been developed within traditional junior football ranks. Barlow was raised within the Victorian football system

Given his background and his lack of natural assimilation and familarity with city life and AFL footballer, its reasonable to compare him to a 17/18 year old. He's 21 but he is raw.

It is a remarkable achievement for Jurrah, considering where he has come from and how limited his AFL preparation has been.

One day, he'll go mental and kick 15 in a game.

Agree with this. As posted above, also agree with the excitement he bought when pushing up the ground. LJ needs to bring a more desperate, harder edge at times but this is not too much of a concern.

All of Jurrah, Wonna & Bennell have a massive amount of talent, in different area's of the game too, they all need to find it a bit more at times IMO as they do go missing for periods of games. In LJ & Wonna's case they are coming back from injury interrupted seasons & pre-seasons and will be better for the run this year.

I love Jimmy Bennell, he seems to start games with a rush and is involved early but then fades out of games too much. This needs to improve but another with a heap of talent and x factor.
