What is with bagging Daveys kicks?

I would rather him kick shorter kicks to a teammate in a dangerous position rather than belting it long to nobody like we previously did.

Anyway, 3 things I want

1) A Melbourne domination, winning by over 10 goals.

2) The forward line of Sylvia, Bate, Hughes and Watts to all kick a few goals each.

3) The commentators to get off the NicNat train, and jump aboard the team that will become the new powerhouse!!!

(On a sidenote, I am so sick of hearing about Natanui. He is an exciting player, but he touches the ball 10 times agame! He gets in the best for doing 2/3 really good plays, I cant stand it. I w ould rather a very good consistent player than a sometimes ecxiting player. Give me a Grimes/McKenzie etc. anyday!!!)

I want to see the papers headlines on Sunday after T Scully cracks 20 posessions in the last quarter (giving hime a total of 45 for the match);

"Thomas' Tank Engine".

We all know he's got one, great line for the Hun I reckon!

Other 2 things;

2. Watts to play HFF rotating to FF

3. Jamar continually jumping in to Nic Nat like he did last year. Stopped his jump, and made him $hit scared to go near the ball.

We really need this win like a dog needs his bone!

We have Port, Geelong, Carlton and Collingwood in the 4 assignments after.

Pity we can't host Port at the G as we could've been 5-4.

1: Win by 50 points.

2: McKenzie nominated for Rising Star.

3: Sylvia to break Kennedy's jaw back.

One thing will do me, to be one or more points in front when the siren sounds at the end of the fourth quarter!

very well said

getting 50,000 is a joke though whoever said that- watts doesnt attract a crowd, he's played 3 very average games (as expected mind you)- he is going to take a few years to develop. we won't be able to tell whether we shouldve taken him or nic nat until watts has played 3 or 4 seasons.

crowd over 28,000 is a win.

go dees and go sylvia to break kennedy's jaw

Watts to play and get his hands on the footy

Sylvia to drop Kennedy !! and everyone cheers

35000 people to watch the dees smash the eagles

4; Josh Kennedy getting ko'd from a fair hip n shoulder by Sylvia

Whilst I would love that, you know Col would be outed by the match review committee for being a thug and get four weeks.

Jamar to ruck then go forward, forcing NicNat to follow him.

Then kick about five goals.

Watts at HFF delivering a few team-oriented goal assists, laying a couple of tackles. Nothing spectacular expected but just the 'core' respect. Plus a few little flahses of spectacular might be nice.

Scully and Trengove to have exactly as good a game as eachother, as part of a midfield that just smashes the clearances.

Hmm.... looking at the sheets, I can't see an area where WC are stronger than us. It makes me nervous saying that, but that is how it looks.

It sounds obvious but the key today is in the ruck. The Russian needs to move forward and make Naitanui accountable. He can kick goals as he has shown and I do not believe Naitanui will be comfortable in our forward line. I think we will win and quite comfortably however we cannot let Kennedy or Nautanui/Cox get on top of us. Last year P.J tore Cox a new one and Jamar was all over Naitanui so I am confident we have the players and now the belief to really dominate teams and today could be one of those days.

1) Melbourne win ... BIG WIN

2) Watts to kick at least 2 so the morons who continually bag him will shut up. (Anyone who bags this kid clearly has never played or knows nothing about football)

3) A big crowd for our last home game on a saturday.

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
