Yes bring back Barassi with his 8 year plan - it worked so well last time...

That's enough for me tonight.

For a club who supposedly spent all summer on their kicking, I think we may need to spend all winter on it too.

Oh, and a forward line that stays there so when we do kick it up there we have more than 1 on 3 would probably help.

agree with you 100%

getting smashed in a nab cup game isnt a good sign

This thing is terrible, I've been waiting for this day for months only to be shut down like this and wake up tomorrow reading the hun with another article bagging our club or our picks

Yeh, it's only NAB. But.... we are playing a terrible footy side. Maric is unfortunately not up to it, and we make so many skill errors it'a hard to see what has changed. Still can't hold tackles. Forward line utterly dysfunctional.

We literally don't have a player over 6"0 that can lead HARD out of the goal square and take a big, hard, strong, contested mark. How can you even hope to win games when your only real option for goals are midfielders like Sylvia, or running playings like Green and Moloney? Jurrah is great, but you can't build a forward line around him. History has shown that a player of his type can be too inconsistent.

Arghh

I'm over this game.

We're asleep, nobody is even close to their opponent, we still can't kick out of the backline, or kick at all for that matter.

Oh oh, the umpires are a disgrace!!!!

Thank god for Trengove, Scully, Grimes and Frawley.

I feel sorry for my son, only 4 weeks old and a member of a side that is playing like they just had their nails done.

reality is we will and were always going to continue to feel pain this year...

we all want it now but we just got to hang in there...

We live in hope...

Too much handballing for a club with bad skills. I think our game plan should change to getting the ball and smashing it 50m instead of stuffing around with it

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
