I believe you would be referring to: No 48- Gary Rohan.

Listed as 188 72 - does not give date of birth. However, he is the one that Turner from the Falcons claims is among their best ever. I do not agree to that.

Just arrived home from matches played today and Scully makes a Grand Final where Dandenong Stingrays won by around 40 points over Geelong.Earlier Eastern Ranges were beaten by Calder Cannons- Carlisle injured again- in the 12 minute of the first quarter- looked like a shoulder.

Scully was not his brilliant best today spending alot of time in a foward pocket and little match time in the last quarter.Might be carryng an injury.

Scully stood out for me in the first quarter today, which was his best imo. Kicked a very nice goal on the run off the left boot in the forward pocket. He was pretty much directly responsible for two others as well, laying a nice tackle then delivering to the rays forwardline from the resulting free. He also intercepted a Falcons kick out from their backline with a very good strong mark in front of an opponent, and once again delivered to the forwardline resulting in a Stinga goal.

He has a massive tank this guy, once again didn't come off for the entire game apart from right near the end (where his left knee had an icepack applied). I think the strategy the coaching staff seem to use with him in the 2 games I have seen live, is to 'rest' him in either the forward or backline rather than take him to the bench. His strengths are his quick thinking and his speed of delivery by hand, his running to position and general football brain. As mentioned above he can also take a pretty good mark when required. His tackling impressed me today.

He seems to be pretty versatile too, last week he played half the game in the backline, this week half in the forwardline. Obviously however his forte is in the middle.

There was one guy from the falcons who impressed me quite a bit, number 26 I think it was. He is a forward and has a good footy brain and great kick. Anyone know much about him?

Scully not named in the bests?

He was pretty quiet after that first quarter, especially after he was shifted to the forwardline. It's amazing just how many opponents are rotated onto him during a game. In neither of the games I've seen has he played out the duration in the centre, I'd love to see what influence he would have if he was.

Ben Moloney wears 26 for Falcons, but he wasn't named today. Was he a tall/small?

Maybe we'll see it next week. Would love to see the Graeme Yeats' Stingrays get the win.

Maybe it was 24 or 28? Probably average size, had brown hair. Smart footballer.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
