Every Melbourne game played in Victoria, however many that was.

Havent missed a Melbourne game played in Victoria since 1997. Got to admit, that some of the games toward the end of the season this year were hard work. But I kept the streak alive.

That's every game at the MCG. Not interested in matches at Etihad Stadium. Was considering the trip to Geelong, but it never happened.

I went to the same 17 as Adam. From memory my son accompanied me to about 12 of them and my daughter about 15.

Have missed one MCG match since '05, that was for a wedding.

So all of them, North at Eat your hat, Sydney at Manuka. I think that's all - tried to get to the GABBA, will do it next year - that's great fun!

That is a very impressive streak - Does that include pre-season?

Well as some you know i have been a supporter of the dees since 1995-96 since i move to brisbane from Perth and i am yet to be privlidged enough to attend a game at our great home the MCG.

I just have not been in the financial position to do so, im 23 nearly 24 and dont have a job atm, looking for career change.

If i could i would be there every week with bells on.

This year attended the gold coast game against the Saints which was a great night other than the loss and of course the yearly gabba game which is a great night which i try recruit as many friends as possible to support our club haha

I watch every game every week on TV without fail and we try set up the lounge room with MCG atmosphere every week haha

My brothers, my girlfriend, and i are hoping to organise a trip to melbourne next year to attend my first game at the G.

Ive so far recruited my girlfriend, a few of her friends and also a number of my mates to support the dees and it has come to the point where all our friends will become members next year which is great news :)

A few years of brainwashing was all worth it, but must admit its been hard at times to convince supporting a club that has lost so many games in the past 2 years :) which is better news that they are true blue red and blue :)

I normally consider myself a die hard but this year i have to admit i didnt attend any games after the port game as i was so annoyed at the fact i wouldnt be able to barrack for my own team anyway (because of the priority pick system). Attended every victorian game before that though.

Another big fat zero for me.

And I just realised that it's the first time in 22 years that I've gone an entire season without seeing an MFC game live.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
