Currently in 7th place, they play the 9th placed Northern Bullants.

Both sides are on 7 wins for the year, but the Bullants have a weak percentage. A loss for the Zebras could see Sandy drop out of the 8.

This game will be played at MC Labour Park - start time is 2.00pm, Sunday 3 August 2008.

That's ok though. I only wanted to see him if he was going to get a run of games much like Maric now. There is little point in putting him in for one game. From appreances it looks as though they are going about this the right way. Playing him at Sandy 1st's for maybe 2 or 3 games then building up for a big pre-season. Would not be surprised if he debuted in Round 1 next year if he has a fantastic pre-season and NAB Cup.

They have 40 out of 44 senior and rookie list players available and, of the players missing, only two would be considered selection chances for the AFL side - Richard Hadley and Setanta O’hAilpin - and they would be on the fringes of selection at best. And that's been more or less the situation with Carlton all year. If you gave them an injury plagued season or two like those experienced by Melbourne recently, they'd be back on the tankwagon very quickly.
