You can't be saying this if you were actually at the game.

Best feeling ever.

These are the games you remember for a long time and why you stick with a club through little thick and much thin

It was only Fremantle ;)

Fifty points down at the half way mark after six successive heavy losses; come on, don't be so mean spirited - we just got King Kong off our back. Even if Fremantle's scapl dangling from our belt doesn't excite you much, we did turn things around in the second half and play some direct, exhilarating footy. Enjoy the win.

You people do know I was only taking the [censored] out? I was at the game. Just for a bit of a chuckle. condemned seems to have been the only one who didn't take it personally.

Chill out guys ^_^

It's funny though, against any other club other than the Shockers, Melbourne wouldn't have won the game after that deplorable first half. That includes West Coast, Essendon or anyone at the moment. Fremantle is the only team that can produce a result like that.

Having said that, considering the circumstances, it was one of the all time great wins.

I'd have to agree. That's up there with one of the great wins (that i've seen at least)

If it was only Collingwood!!!

That would be better than sex!

Oh you aint doin it right....

Still, the old gal seemed full to the brim even though there was only 20k there. Imagine the noise if we could have had 50k?

Great Comeback YES

Great Win NO although it sure was good timing before the break

Some people on this forum simply look at one half of football

Great WINS come from playing 4 quarters of football not one half and that actually winning playing that way is VERY RARE

I dont consider playing a poor half of football irrespective of the result GREAT

Was it positive ? ABSOLUTLEY and will build confidence in future games but we will acheive greater forward progression playing 4 quarters competivley even if we LOSE the game

for all those MFC followers not supporters who could have been there and wernt,,,,, TUFF..... it was the greatest fealing after the game.

some positives came out of it, garland showing positive signs, straight at the ball, a bit of run off the back line. aussie no more needs to be said. but i will, great and dont you love the little frog dance after the goals. millar guess what hes a forward who would have guessed?

after the game i heard this crazy old woman going [censored] yelling, screaming and singing the GOF for the umteenth time, suprise it was my wife and i was carrying on like a bit of a loose arab myself.

friends you had to be there, you could feel the pride and pure joy deep down and you just had to let it out.

Cartainly was a fantastic win! I was wondering why i hadn't gone to the pub instead of going to the football at half time, but was very pleased after the siren. It really was an amazing game. There were older women ringing up the radio statiopns afterwards saying that they had been crying, i haven't heard of this since Buckanara broke every melbourne supporters hearts in '87.

A tired and battered Fremantle after playing Geelong last week

stop raining on the parade.... we were GREAT . On recent form now I can see the light in the tunnel.!!!!

Spot on.

The crowd was amazing, could not believe that much noise could come from a crowd under 20000.

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
