I want a contest and some of the best games are low scoring, congested affairs, e.g. both Sydney v WCE grand finals. The narrative that we want free flowing, high scoring matches is not for the fans but rather commercial interests such as advertising.

Congestion is fine, some games are a bit of a roaming maul while others are high scoring. Its not basketball.

We need a Dennis Cometti to comentate what is happening and then a Paul Roos, Jonathon Brown, Gary Lyon or Kane Cornes to analyse the game and provide insights into what is happening and why.

I might be in the minority but I find Bruce Mcaveney extremely annoying to listen to when watching the game. He seems to have no grasp of what is happening, fawns over well known players whether they are playing well or not and then distracts from what is actually taking place. Keen to hear others views re Bruce.

Brilliant - I like the roaming BT segment. Gives some good insights into what the players do after the game and some good light hearted Q&A. It also has a nervous air that Roaming BT will say or do something highly inappropriate which adds to the experience. On a side note, Bruce Mcevaney annoys me to no end. He offers no insight or understanding of the game and simply fawns over players based on their reputation and not on how they are playing or what is actually happening.
