Dom was really important for our young side when he came over from GWS and was arguably our best inside mid. He showed alot of character to work back into form playing in a position he isnt ideally suited on the wing. Hope he plays alot of games with North over the next few years and finishes a 150-200 game player.

What would Mitch Cleary know? The media are all over the place with this one and suggests that aside from Hogan, his Manager, Melbourne and Freo the rest of us are in the dark. Where has Jesse stated he wants to go to Freo. This is not fact, it is speculation. We have no idea what is driving this, whether it is Jesse wanting to go back to Perth or the club wanting him to declare where his future is this trade period.

Not being able to afford May is more in terms of picks. In terms of being able to financially afford players we would not only look at how a prospective player would fit within our Total Player Payments based on contracts but also ensuring we have headroom to manage the overall health of our list well into the future. E.g. We could backend a 4 year contract but should do so in a responsible manner.

I have it on good authority that Jesse Hogan will attend the B&F on Monday night and when he gets up to make a speech he will don a Freo scarf and launch into an impassioned plea to his teammates to never give up and never surrender, he will then hold up the Freo scarf before setting it alight and declare 'I am Melbourne' thus ending the Norm Smith curse and speculation re his playing future. Mark my word!

What I love most about our team is that the players never winge or complain, they just roll up to the next contest and go harder when it doesnt go their way. In my view Goodwin sets this standard by never complaining about the umpiring which cascades to the playing group. Compare this to Geelong where the coach carries on like a pork chop, Danger flops around and Ablett winges when he cops some contact. To Selwoods credit he doesnt complain much.

I wonder if Jesse Hogan will wear his Freo scarf to the game and he along with Jeff Farmer get the Freo crowd on board.

Thanks, do you know how many priority two members the club has? Im a priority 2 but my three kids are priority 3. Also, if each club has an allocation of 20k each who do the remaining 60k tickets go to? Surely a situation where more than half of the people attending do not support either team is not the ideal atmosphere.

ANB is underrated here for his workrate and pressure. Without guys lik him our system would not work. He also gets on the end of scoring chains and decent around goal.
