This map is broken, there are buildings where Gotch's paddock is meant to be.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
We should register a Melbourne Demons party for the next election, and sell preferences to whichever party stumps up the cash.

Injury List - Season 2019
Why the outrage, for all we know going back on the ground may have helped heal Jakey boys foot and reduce time out of the game. Looking forward to the whining from so called doctors on here.

Making the finals
West Coast are struggling a bit at the moment and if we turn up to play could beat them. GWS have lost 13 of their last 15 matches at the G and its entirely realistic that we will be able to get the job done. Adelaide at TIO presents another real opportunity which we should have Lever, Hannan and JKH back in the side. Win the above 3 and we will be 6-5 and will make QB v Collingwood a huge game for both teams. Dees!

Round 8 Non MFC Matches
With our improves defence all around the ground, in particular our forward half, and clearance and contested ball numbers over the past few rounds I'd back us to beat GWS,especially if we can start to take some marks in front of goal.

Tom McDonald on RSN (13/5)
Interestingly he also mentioned that Weiderman sustained an injury in previous round for Casey. I'm guessing this means he won't be an in v West Coast.

Round 8 Non MFC Matches
Apparently they've won 2 out of 15 at the G

Given he has never been suspended can provide his perfect record in tribunal hearing.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
I don't buy into the whole poor Melbourne we are the victim mentality. The solution is reappy quite simple: 1. We are Melbourne and our home is the 'G'. As such we need training facilities within walking distance to our home and should not consider any other options as our identity is Melbourne. 2. There is little gain from either side of politics in handing out money to the MFC. Generally our members do not live marginal electorates and the East Melbourne bloc bat politically above their weight. 3. We need to keep working the Jolimont and finding a way to gain support from East Melbourne residents. I wouldn't be opposed to call in a Mick Gatto to explain the benefits of the plan. 4. Delivering success, consistent finals and a premiership or two and grow to 70k members and the politicians will take more notice. Failing the above we couls get back into pokies and sign Crown Casino as a sponsor on the basis they build world class training facilities in the casino. When the AFL and politicians complain we simply say our preference was Plan A but can only work if they are on board. I believe that within the next 5-10 years we will have good facilities within a walk of the 'G' along with a social hub for members.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
I'd like to see Petracca run away from the mark from 25m out to kick it from 50 out

Changes vs West Coast
With May, Lever and Jetta already out, losing Hibberd and Lewis will be difficult to cover. Looks like Fritch and Hunt to the backline.

The GCS have also found some heart in that time.

I went from anxious, to furious, despondend and overjoyed all in under 2 minutes. Good win!

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
We should just pepper torps towards the goal from outside 50 and rely on repeat entry points

Marty Hore and Jay Lockhart
I can see both Lockhart and Hore holding their spot in our best 22 even when guys like Lever, May, Hannan, AvB come back in.
-
Nathan Jones 272
I missed the first quarter but what I saw he would have been in our best few players. His decisiong making and ability to kick to the right spots stood out in such a scrappy match.

This would be the logical choice. The troublesome residents in East Melbourne can get on board or GAGF. We might need to send in some hevaies to fix them up.

Jack Trengove signed by Port Adelaide as a Delisted Free Agent
I still find it facinating that the mental weight of the captiancy actually resulted in physical stress on Trenner's foot. Quite remarkable really.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Casey is part of a growth corridor which is home to our VFL team and where we run clinics to build our supporter base and membership through young families in the area. It works for this purpose. We shouldn't consider a permanent training base that is not within an easy walk of the 'G'.

Shaun Smith not happy with Joel's medical treatment.
While this is true the AHPRA and RACS would not care in the slightest whether Joel Smith should have been on the field or not, so such registration is not really relevant to such cases. Dave Mission's job would be a much more stressful and difficult job than that of the medicos as he is constantly making risk based judgements that are rarely clear cut.

Shaun Smith not happy with Joel's medical treatment.
Jako (if that is your real name), Dave Misson as Manager Elite Performance is accountable for the fitness and conditioning of our team. The Doctors, Physios, Fitness staff and Specialists outside the club are experts in their field but they are either general (club doctors) or narrow (physios, specialists) in their focus. Dave's role is to make risk based decisions which take into account the advice he is given by experts with the fitness, conditioning and fielding a team which can play the way Simon Goodwin wants to play to bring success. While Doctors may have high insurance cover they are not trained or qualified to make these decisions. Interestingly Bruce Reid with the EFC during the doping program came out unscaved despite being the club doctor and probably the best place person to advise on and ensure that harmful substances were not injected into players. When it comes to long term health, e.g. concussion, mental health, doping programs, I believe club doctors should have responsibility and report to the board. For injury management and conditioning the Elite Performance coach is the person.

Isaac Smith
His track record was keeping Sydney fit for two GF, of which they won one, and playing finals consistently and then taking St Kilda to two GF's a lnd consistent finals. Shocking track record.

Shaun Smith not happy with Joel's medical treatment.
Responsibilty also rests with the player to explain their symptoms and it is possible they did not do this.
