  1. About time. He has been in good form at Casey for a while and deserves his chance.
  2. Good. Bang that door down.
  3. we've been horrific with him in there. He needs to be sent a message, hopefully other players take heed of it too.
  4. Carlton's spine is as good as anybody's. They are right in the premiership hunt.
  5. Absolutely he has. Factor in that he is battling some mental problems as well, and the pressure to perform on a weekly basis, it cannot be doing him any good. If he needs to take some time away from the game, he has earned it. However, if he is not meeting the requirements he has agreed to commit to, that is another matter all together. As such, i think he is just going through a down patch and is struggling a little more to come back to level pegging. Either way, he is a champion of our club.
  6. It’s why I’ve never been for academies. These clubs knew what the consequences would be by establishing themselves in non AFL dominant areas and still chose to set up camp there. Now they’re crying poor and that they should be compensated for their lack of foresight? Thats kind of like asking for the #1 draft pick a couple of years after stuffing up your original selection………….tough bickies.
  7. This could get really ugly………………or be one of our greatest wins ever.
  8. Totally agree. Why is it that we seem to be the ones on the receiving end more often than not. Case in point, Max being constantly hit and bumped illegally for the past 6 years, yet nothing is done about it.
  9. Clarry was displaying much better form earlier in the year than he is now. It wasnt at his previous levels, but he was positively influencing games. He’s struggling big time at the moment, to the point where his frustrations are negatively impacting the team. Even a Ferrari needs a tune-up every now and then, but with Trac sidelined for the rest of the year, he won’t be getting dropped or the much needed break he needs (not whilst we’re in finals contention anyways).
  10. Starting to put together some more consistent footy is Jeffo. i still wouldn’t debut him this year. Dangle the carrot over the pre-season so he puts in a big pre-season, then have him ready for 2025.
  11. He needs to walk the plank ED14, along with the Pres who came in riding the coattails of GB, and has managed to oversee a breathtaking case of ignorance and complacency
  12. All aboard the SS Sinking Ship.
  13. How long has May been our rock in our backline, and our backline the rock of our team? Its crumbling came sooner than expected, but I’m not surprised that our team has reflected the collapse of our backline. When your strength starts to get nullified without a step up in performance else where, of course things are going to go backwards.
  14. Was in the paper about a week ago.
  15. This may seem somewhat of a harsh comment, but this neither excites nor frustrates me. Disco staying or going is not going to change the direction we go in.
  16. It’s not a draw, it’s a fixture
  17. The AFL is a farcical competition…………..if you value a level and fair playing field.
  18. Yep. Up by 54 and go on to lose…………..not even we could manage that.
  19. More than half a chance.
  20. Well played ET
  21. Agree @old dee, change it up a bit Simon. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result.
  22. Maybe he could be a player coach and help give Max a chop out 🤪
