  1. How many on match selection committee are scratching their heads wondering why the younger players aren’t developing as well as they used to?
  2. That’s all well and good @Nasher , but the 4 I listed of Sparrow, Spargo, Fritsch and to a lesser extent Salem have themselves added very little to the team this year. We’ve gotta start getting senior experience in to the youth to fast track their development.

Roffey and accountability never went hand in hand during her presidency, at least not when it was anything negative.
  4. How is losing Kozzie a win? It doesn’t matter if we get Harley Reid as part of a deal, any way you look at it, Kozzie would be a massive loss. He’s near on untradeable.
  5. At least he brings elite hair to his game šŸ˜ Seriously though, how do we expect JVR, MJ or Kolt to get good at the level, if they don’t get a decent run in the seniors? Meanwhile the likes of Sparrow, Spargo, Fritsch and even Salem get free passes to the next round.

    74 is too young.
  7. Hard to disagree with any of that

Yes, following 2021, 2022-2023 were nauseatingly pleasant šŸ˜
  9. If Goodwin does not go at the end of the year (along with Richardson), then god help us for the next 5 years. We are already so far down the rabbit hole, that you can virtually write off 2026 & 2027, let alone 2025.
  10. If there is a more ā€œwhite-collarā€ supporter base than us, then it’s Hawthorn.
  11. Still early in his career, but MJ is not showing much to prove he is an AFL level talent. JT not having much success in landing KPF’s from the draft.

Pies continue to travel extremely well.

    Oooh game on.

Sorry to say, but an impressive win coming up for the Pies tonight. 4 good players out and going over to WA off a 5 day break. Respect.

Yes, being very reactive and not proactive.

Longmuir has to be about on his last legs as coach of Freo, surely? With the list he has, they should be doing much better than their current output. Their game plan is worse than ours. Not too sure I’d be salivating over the prospect of bringing LJ back in a hurry either. Hasn’t done too much in his time over their and has stagnated badly, particularly for the $ he would be on.

If it’s a choice between LJ coming back or keeping Kozzie, the choice is an extremely easy one for mine. For all of his talent, Luke rarely influences games.

Surely Longmuir is on shaky ground at the Dockers. They should be so much better than what they’re delivering

19-12 free kicks at half time, on track for 62 frees for the game. Talk about over officiating

Great to see you’ve become more optimistic as you’ve aged Bluey 😁

How would anyone know either way? The club is virtually a closed shop on Caulfield……….yet for everything else we seem to leak like a sieve.

  24. Sounds to me like we need a new fitness boss.

Agree a bit left field, but I like that. He’ll be keen to learn and establish himself in the footy industry, so motivation won’t be an issue. He’ll look to prove himself worthy, as opposed to a former CEO knowing they’ve been here before. A breath of fresh air, with his own outside the box ideas, away from the insular environment that is the AFL business.
