  1. From the perspective of how Reid still has so much growth as a footballer and Trac will soon be starting to decline (given his age), then yes I would. Another part of me reckons if we were to trade Trac, we may as well trade Clarry and Viney, because our window would definitely be closed and we’d need to maximise going to the draft and bringing in A-graders before Tassie comes in. Barret is getting stuck in to North how they’ve been useless for so long, but as the Giants did as their list matured, North’ improvement will happen rapidly once the kids get games and continuity playing together. Dont want to wallow at the bottom of the ladder for years on end. Hit the draft hard and rebound asap (and no, I don’t even want the club to even dare think about t@nk!g, coz that worked out wonders last time)
  2. Media won’t focus on this though, as it doesn’t align with their ‘pile it on the Dees’ mantra atm.
  3. I’m sorry, but with the video on MFC.com.au where ANB says it was a tough decision to make, it sounds as if it’s all a fait accompli and he’s simply going to a SA club. Both Port & Crows know that they won’t have to offer adequate compensation, given we seek to have a net trade gain, and will use the ‘family reasons’ as a source to lower his value. However, given his importance to the club in the defensive role he plays, we should not be parting ways with him unless it’s to our benefit (he does have another couple of years contract with us after all). We are currently at a cross roads with where we’re at as a team and need to be ruthless in our pursuit to get back up the ladder. If that means holding Nibbler to his contract, so be it. Im tired of us being nice guys and easy to deal with at the trade table.
  4. We seem to be rewriting the “what not to do” rule book. Talk about imploding
  5. Watch the AFL do us for tanking again
  6. Looks like re-build will be in full swing whether the footy department like it or not. What was all that cr@p jotted out after 2021 about not becoming complacent from the coach, ceo & pres? Thats aged really well. 2022-2024 May as well be titled ‘What not to do: 101’
  7. Our game plan is boring and our scoring has rapidly dried up. No faster way to disenfranchise the players and supporter base than that. That’s on the coaches. Hope the board read them the riot act this off season, but given who is in charge, I very much doubt it will happen
  8. Not to mention it would p!§§ off a lot of supporters, me included. You don’t trade the heart and soul of your club.
  9. I'd be trading all of Sparrow, Spargo and Chandler before letting Fritsch go. He kicks more goals than all combined. All 4 dont get much of the ball, so keep the one with the most bang for buck.
  10. Yeah I’d only do that trade if Georgiades came with him too.
  11. Love that he goes out as a one-club player. Love even more that he keeps to himself and doesn’t voice his opinion on any little matter (cough***** Dangerfield ******* cough)
  12. No no no no no. The top 8 should stay the way it is. With a 19th team coming soon enough, it makes qualifying for finals all the more of an achievement, as opposed to half the teams making them. Finals should be for good teams playing in good matches, not ones just making up the numbers.
  13. The only reason possibly as to why the Bont might ‘underperform’ in finals might just be because his body can’t go a 7th month of carrying his team on his shoulders. The fact he doesn’t have a Brownlow and Neale has 2 just shows how poor a medal it is as to judging the B&F in the AFL.
  14. We need to offer Darren Burgess a blank cheque to come back to us next year.
  15. Concerning for the Swans.
  16. Better judgement than Kane Kornes or Sam Maclure 😁 2 picks in the mid teens would be as far as I’m willing to go. Definitely not a top 10 pick though. Houston, whilst a very good player, will be 28 come the start of next year. Id rather get a quality youngster with his whole career ahead of him, than a desperate attempt ala Richmond 2022, to trade out quality picks only for it to backfire.
  17. When was the last time a team got done by 100 points during the season, then went on to win the flag?
  18. Anything above 70k given how far we’ve fallen away this year would be a bonus
  19. Sounds like we’re desperate to pump up member numbers
  20. We were surprisingly accurate
  21. Was thinking Rawlings, but picturing Chaplin. But you get my drift.
  22. Take the top 10 pick to the draft
