Salem 200
On one side it should have all the congratulatory messaging, the other side a none too subtle jab to Damien Barrett that reads “Premiership medals: Salem 1, Kelly 0”

NON-MFC: Round 01
One can only hope. Their fans are just about the most smug and arrogant supporters when up and about, yet they continually choke in the most important game of the year.

We usually go ok in major player milestone games, long may it continue. Hopefully he has his kicking boots on tomorrow.

2025 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee
McVee is just another run of the mill HBF with no outstanding qualities. It was why he went in the rookie draft. We gave him a chance when no-one else would and he then holds us over a barrel for an entire year before fleeing home to WA. I’m glad we didn’t offer him a contract too good to refuse. Good riddance is all I can say.

Accessing membership?
I had the mobile membership for 1 year, it was way too hard for accessibility compared to having a physical membership card sent out. I know it doesn’t help those that opted for mobile this year, but good for thought in future. Maybe ring up the club during the week and ask them to send out physical membership, it is soooo much easier and convenient. ***I am 38 and am pretty tech savvy, so it’s definitely got nothing to do with older people not keeping up with technology.

Exclusive Interview with Paul Guerra, Steven King & Steven Smith
It highlights the lack of leadership from supposed off-field leaders since the likes of positions PJ left.

Exclusive Interview with Paul Guerra, Steven King & Steven Smith
PG and TL informed SK that we were going to get rid of Petracca and Oliver and he chose to continue in his application for the coaching position. All were aware and in agreement that this is how we’d move forward. Sure they might’ve said one thing and done another, but it was to maximise our return.

Exclusive Interview with Paul Guerra, Steven King & Steven Smith
Yep, if you’re not moving forwards you’re going backwards. Petracca no longer wanted to be a Demon and Clarrie apparently wasn’t willing to change in order to stay one. What’s that saying about insanity and doing the same thing over and over expecting different results? That’s where Goodwin had started leading us. At least our current leaders had the fortitude to instigate the much needed change, unlike our previous CEO and Roffey (both were train wrecks imv). Onwards and upwards

The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
Betsy is very biased in their reporting, given they represent horse racing. Furthermore, MRC have no control over whether we get approval for the site or not, as that lies with CRRT. A tunnel wouldn’t take a whole year out of the racing schedule, not even half that. But if that’s the sticking point, just install openable running rails next to the training buildings - if horses constantly run on the track that is long and lush with grass, some foot traffic ain’t going to damage it. Just a bunch of people drunk on their own power being petulant that they’re not getting everything their way. You could also equally say the same about Guerra and Smith. The reality no doubt lies somewhere in the middle.

4 flags came from that site. Let’s hope some of that success rubs off on us

Yes Guerra seems to do well at the talking part. Meanwhile, Steven King seems to be one who will let his actions do his talking. I favour the latter.

Yep @Lil_red_fire_engine . If I’m the Suns I’m bare minimum wanting the equivalent of the Trac trade…….and I’d happily pay it too. Sure we need to bring in a few before we contend again, but they need to be quality players which BH is.

NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round
No wonder he’s got a bad back. Can’t be good for posture carrying around all that cash
-
NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round
Ground is far too small for 36 players’, allows the Swans to clog it up something shocking. Grounds need to have a minimum length (SCG) and width (KP) rule, to allow for more open play.

The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
Given that the MCC operates and manages the MCG and the MFC was born out of the MCC, one could argue that the MCG is no less ‘our’ ground as Kardinia Park is Geelong’s

We’re in need of a quality KPF, KPD, a couple more A-grade mids to go along with our kids, and maybe a quality ruck to help out Heath when Gawn retires. But other than that we’re all good

well if Trac was worth 3, BH will be worth at least that as well.

At Caulfield for midweek race meet. Tunnel underground from grandstand to inside the track is approx 100m. Can’t be wider than 3 metres and 3m high, with lights running the length of the tunnel and not much else. Furthermore, there are a couple of footy ovals already inside the track. If the MRC refuse to relent and we aren’t able to convince them to allow us to have a training base, the whole board needs to go pronto. Anyone worth their salt could get this arrangement through.
