  1. I would too. At least these things look like they are doing something. ........................That and you can't take your eyes off them, when was the last time we could say that about Morton (if ever at all)?
  2. why not try and get him to go through the PSD? We need to pick up some quality there surely.
  3. Stuff Dawes, i'd go after Pederson. He could fill either CHF or CHB next year, then when Hogan comes in, he can move permanently to CHB. He's 193cm and 100kg, is the same height as Frawley and 7kg heavier. we aren't going to be challenging for the flag next year (one wouldn't suspect - stranger things have not happened ), so we aren't in dire need of a CHF.
  4. if that was to take place, we'd have the slowest midfield by a long long way. Would rather Wines to be honest.
  5. Yep agree with you guys here. I'd be taking Toumpas ahead of Wines, purely because he has greater pace and a better kick than Wines. If Toumpas is gone by pick 4, then i would be tossing up between O'Rourke and Wines. Dom Barry has explosive pace yes, but he's more of a winger. We need players with explosive pace, who are able to play in the guts.
  6. would rather Toumpas (likely to GWS) or O'Rourke over Wines, as they both offer something different, whereas Wines offers more of the same as Viney.
  7. assuming that both Rivers and Moloney go through FA, i would expect a 2nd rounder as compensation. Would be happy to on-trade that for Dawes and swap of our 3rd round picks. Also wouldn't mind trading the Pies 3rd rounder for Pederson to help hold down a defensive post. Netting us Hogan, Barry, Viney, Dawes, Pederson and leaving us with picks 4 and 20 for mids in the ND.
  8. Everyone seems to be forgetting a kid Neeld drafted last year, in Rory Taggert. He hits the contest hard and has a good kick on him. I reckon he might have a thing or two to do with our re-shaping midfield.
  9. so the deal might look like 3+13 for Hogan+20+Barry? Why Barry over someone like Jed Anderson Nudge (if you know)?
  10. That's what happens when you have a coach who isn't afraid to go after what he wants, as opposed to one being lead around by the nose, by an incompetent recruiting manager.
  11. Yep, and if we get the likes of Dawes, Hogan and Pederson, i'd be more than willing to trade him for the right price (top 10-12 pick).
  12. One could very well say no room for Watts either, particularly if we get Pederson who could fill CHB. Heck at least he has some trade value, as opposed to Cook.
  13. LOL, ok pal, you've fooled no-one. Back to your place in the centrelink line.
  14. There are no quotes from the MFC in this article, nonetheless, were this to go through, I'd be demanding Harrington and even Neeld step down immediately. Wellingham and Dawes for pick 4 = GTFO. Would be reluctant to part with 13, but probably would do it for both players (not Dawes alone), but pick 4 ... Dees, Pies discuss super trade
  15. with GC seemingly missing out on Tippet, it doesn't bode well for Viney coming to us with pick 26.
  16. Dawes and Rounds for pick 13 and Martin, lol...................lol. Rounds is a nobody and i believe Martin for Dawes is a fair trade for both teams. So we just throw in pick 13??? yeah, no. The filth can gagf, if they think they will pries pick 13 off us now that Wellingham is out of the equation.
  17. I am a huge fan of his, would no doubt go top 10 possibly even top 5 if he was 10cm taller. Would love him at the Dees. Apart from Viney, those i'd most like to see in a demons guernsey are Kennedy, Toumpas, Hogan and Stringer.
  18. The Blues must be getting really desperate!
  19. I guess that rules out us going after Kennedy then, sigh
  20. I think you're missing a "c" in there jumbo!
  21. One bid per club interested, depending on what pick they bid with, we must match it with next best or pass.
  22. Petterd, for a nothing pick. Can replace him maybe with Banfield.
  23. maybe one to consider in the PSD, maybe.
  24. there's no doubt that we'll select him. Whether that is at pick 3 or pick 27ish is not up to us and is out of our hands.
