It's the Dogs that want to move up in the draft order, not us who want to move down. They're the one's who are going to have to give a little more than what they want to, if they are that desperate for KPF. Just give them a list of players that they can choose to send to us, if they aren't willing to do it, then no deal. Simple Dogs, you will have to bow to us to get your high pick.

Maybe he knows what he wants and just doesn't care what the public perception is. Everyone is trying to make mountains out of molehills, Danger is probably sitting back laughing, i know i would be.

Scrap the Sub? That would mean that the members' of the rules committee (aka Kevin Bartlett) would admit they were wrong. We've got a better chance of getting Dangerfield!

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
Demon Disciple replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
This is the only thing has made my interest in footy and AFL enjoyable this year, hopefully golden boy can keep firing shots until his very end, so i can obtain absolute maximum pleasure from another clubs shambles (particularly at the Scum and their in denial fl0g supporters). Keep digging James, just keep digging! -

Some people don't understand compensation
Demon Disciple replied to InVINCEable's topic in Melbourne Demons
If we get anything less than band 1 compo, it will just go to show that the AFL as corrupt as it is now, just bends even more so (could it be even possible) to the larger clubs that will beach and moan when they are up, yet when they go down (inevitably), they will demand any advantage and charity they can get their hands on (and it shouldn't even be questioned............. they should be entitled to it). If they were in the same position, they would be doing the exact same thing. Pharking hypocrites. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - ANGUS BRAYSHAW
Demon Disciple replied to ashdemons22's topic in Melbourne Demons
For all we know, Brayshaw may go at pick 1 (ok he won't but still), won't be ours or any deal done until end of draft day. -
Pretty sure he was being sarcastic, DJ.

He's not out of contract.

I think it's the reliance on Gary Ablett, and the lack of development with the rest of the playing group that has gotten McKenna sacked. Sure talent there, but Ablett's absence and GC's poor 2nd half of the year, highlighted the unhealthy reliance of GAJ.

GOODBYE MR. CHIP FRAWLEY
Demon Disciple replied to JackVineyForPresident's topic in Melbourne Demons
Imagine the whining that would be coming out of Swann if Rockliff was an UFA, he'd be demanding the highest compo on offer. Sure Rockliff might be a better player than Chip, but in terms of importance in the team line-up, he'd be no greater than James. -

GOODBYE MITCH CLARK

I had heard something similar. Have also heard the powers that be at MFC (including players') think it's in the best interest of all parties that MC & MFC part ways. But i'm just a simple poster on demonland, so i'm unsure sure if true or not. -
Too little too late. He wanted to play these shifty games, now he can lie in the bed that he has made. I wish him well in his personal life with his fight against depression, but professionally as far as i'm concerned, he can reap what he has sewed (him and his manager).

How important is the resurgence of Trengove?
Demon Disciple replied to P-man's topic in Melbourne Demons
Before he was diagnosed with his foot condition, how long had it been since he was at his best? 2011 was a good year for him. So that would be 2 years before he injured his foot, 3 years in total up until now. 3 years is a long time in football. To be frank, he has been woeful since the end of 2011, even with his injuries and all (not what one would have hoped from a #2 draft pick). I hope he can get back to his best and then improve on that (after all he was only a 2nd year player - not exactly bordering on becoming a great player). It would be great if he could find some form and help improve our midfield, but to do that, he will definitely need to surpass his 2011 self. Sadly, i doubt that he will be able to, as he has lost whatever pace and burst of speed he had. Sure people can blame and put hope in the fact he had a foot problem, but surely it can't have gone unnoticed for all of the 2 years where he was stuck in reverse with form and pace. -
A lot. But not as much as Dangerfield.

I'm pretty sure they're lurking around somewhere............

Obviously you weren't around when Nudge was posting about 20 different trade possibilities a day. Still, he didn't even measure up to the lofty standards of Chilliboy...............by god those were the days! #Demonland of old # where are they now?
