    Makes me miss Jayden Hunt.

Was discussing with a friend after the game on the weekend, can see us losing a few more - but given the results all teams have had this season, where we'll land on the ladder is another question. Hopefully land in the top 4 but might be tight., On current form we'll lose to Collingwood but some of the other Ls from your tipping could go either way.
  3. Possibly, also think the 'in-case-of-emergency-tag' option of Harmes could be useful against their midfield. Maybe feeling a bit burnt after last week
  4. Then why did you applaud Frosty? 😀 All Jokes, still love Frostball!

If they end up with the spoon due to an interchange infringement, it will be the most blessed inadvertent tanking job known to man, but i do like a conspiracy theory so its a clever tanking job aha
  6. I won't be booing Jackson as he was part of the flag winning team which made me extremely happy. So I won't boo him unless he does something on the field to warrant it. But not sure he has the mongrel in him for that. There will be Boos though.
  7. Training right next to Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre, convenient for a scan but also unlucky if media are lurking. Getting us all worked up.

Last few years Foxtel only had soccer through its affiliates ESPN (MLS) and BeIN Sport. MLS now on Apple TV and with BeIn out of the door i'm not sure Foxtel have any soccer (at this stage).

Foxtel/Kayo deal with BeIN ending 30 June 2023. BeIN direct is $179 or so for the year but you can only have one stream at a time, so can't even split with a mate.

In some annoying News, BeIN Sport coming off Foxtel/Kayo. Need to get direct BeIN Sport Streaming service now it seems? Foxtel/Kayo now lost - Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Championship, League 1, League 2, SPL, Caraboa Cup, Serie A, Copa Sudamerica, Copa Libertadores. That's on top of losing Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, La Liga, A-League, Champions League, Europa League, MLS in recent years too
  11. That’s one relief, a club languishing at the bottom end of the ladder in turmoil - and it’s not us for a change .
  12. Beanie arrived today; sensational purchase.

Yep good call. Only concern is teams in that 12-14 bracket who are clearly out of finals contention might start eyeing off that % chance. Whichever system it is, clubs will try find a way to get the results they want.

Won a flag with the club he supported as a boy, most don't get a fairytale like that. Worth having on the list but guess it all depends on what how he's ranked internally, list composition, salary cap issues and simultaneously if he can prolong his career at another club. Additionally if he wants more senior minutes due to his age. Not sure where he stands in the midfield pecking order now, especially as Pickett and Rivers have gone through the middle a few times AND we need to fit Salem back in this team somehow.

In-form Harmes is v useful but not not sure he's a walk up in 2023. The addition of Hunter has created a bit of a midfield stockpile. A good selection headache to have.
  16. Cheeky, reckon it only got a fine after it went a bit viral. Either way it shouldn't be the same fine as dacking a bloke

Was seen as a versatile swingman who could play either end. Very happy with his progression, marking and physicality.

  19. Curious what changes they'll make to get Salem back in the team. Understand Judd will need a rest but he's doing all the right things, has great support staff to mentor him back there too
  20. There is the Grand Final Guarantee add-on that gives you the right to buy a ticket for the GF if your team makes it, but not sure if these are still available as I can't see them online anymore
  21. Happened in front of me and I said ‘oooh’ when it happened, definitely a sling action and looked like Day ate the turf, took a bit of time to get back on his feet etc based on what we’ve seen this season, the one match ban doesn’t surprise me
  22. Melbourne have only had five 100+ point wins in my lifetime and I only have recollection of the last 2. A very rare gift in my life. I will happily celebrate any win over hawthorn tho, whatever the Margin

UEFA EUROPA Conference League. 90 minutes away from the final, would be nice to see the Hammers win a trophy, no sarcasm here.
  24. roy11 replied to 45HG's post in a topic in Other Sports
We’ve all lived through Melbourne being bad, don’t think any of us are bad losers aha. not sure what you thought was sarcastic though

United were poor, but still had more possession and shots at goal than West Ham, nore sure about outplayed but definitely outfought. With West Ham relatively safe wonder if they'll rest some players in the hope for Conference League Glory.
