Was happy with an improved performance from BBB but still room for improvement. Hopefully kick starting this week against the Crows.

Dangerfield got 3 weeks last year for his bump, this seemed worse, would be very surprised if it’s less than 4

One of my mates is a Lions man and If there was a "what are they saying in the Group Chat" thread we'd have the following; On having Talls "Flip side is our complete lack of speed" On opposition small forwards 'Def our weakness'

Great update, thanks @poita The MCG was our training ground last night!

Midfield - Bulls on Parade

yep, forward line had a nice balance last night, was good to see the small forwards dancing around the slow Brisbane backline.

https://www.sen.com.au/news/2022/06/21/the-young-ruckman-whose-future-may-sit-at-another-club/ With Port Adelaide opting to play Jeremy Finlayson in the ruck, what does the future hold for Sam Hayes? The 23-year-old ruckman played seven games this year in the absence of Scott Lycett, but has been omitted in favour of makeshift options. Clubs like Geelong, GWS and Melbourne would likely inquire about adding to their ruck depth, while teams like Hawthorn, Carlton and Sydney have been stretched at the position this season.

I'm a Optus mobile guy so will pay the $7 a month, annoying but it's a good product and free for a while. At the end of the day I like all the options which you don't get on Kayo/Paramount etc. But fully understand that increasing your price after losing content and during a "cost of living crisis' is a bold move aha. I've decided to drop ESPN. Still annoyed that they grabbed the Hockey, the official NHL streaming service was mad but then was made not available to Aus, found the ESPN app far too buggy and not as good quality.

Never said it was my idea @58er, I like the length of the game and don't want them shortened but I understand that the AFL will be looking at ways to grow the game/increase attendance and will consider the viewpoints of many different types of fans (including potential fans). When I flew up to Queensland for the Gold Coast game this year I invited some friends of mine who live in Queensland but hadn't been to a game before. They felt it was a long event and from other conversations I've had with people it's a common thought for non-fans/those with fleeting interest. Anyway, everyone is welcome at my next Birthday party, will DM you the information next year, usually tie it in with a Dees game as well.

I took a few non-afl pals to a game, think for non-fans it may be too long. All depends who the AFL are trying to please

We have 16 players over 190cm, 6 of which are injured atm - Perfect time to be playing the Brisbane Behemoths
-
Potentially Gus and LJ? Would be extremely rude aha

We had a relatively soft start to the year opponent wise (for the most), we didn't really put the sword through any team, just did a professional job and did what was required for the win. If that is is on purpose, would be curious how easy it would be to turn the switch back on pressure wise/being relentless for longer periods etc.

Only insanity I had on the weekend was a Pies supporter near me who wouldn't stop yelling BALL, did my head in aha

Making our 5th world cup in a row is a fantastic effort, always good to get an invite to the party. But it does hide some issues relating to results and warranted criticism of the coaching decisions and overall developmental issues in Australia, but that's a debate for another day. We can enjoy today's result for a bit first, even though my productivity at work will be low aha

Averaging 57.7 points a game last 3 weeks. To think I had a Bet on BBB winning the Coleman aha
-
that became a game of kick to kick with Brayshaw just mopping up the other end.
-
Last few weeks we have not stopped kicking it to opposition defenders. Kicking ourselves out of games. Fix that and with May back we'll be looking better. Also think Tomlinson a better option for medi-sub for his versatility more so than consistently picking small forwards. I know his form wasn't great last week but other options a little limiting.

Seeing this brought up a few places, but what exactly is wrong with the current stadiums down there?
-
Still slightly concerned there have been a few well publicized fights after games between fans and the AFL may come down hard on these 2 as an example to make it look like they're strong on violence.
-
I like Hunt, last few weeks have been a bit poor but he's not alone there. Couple of brain-fades last week seemingly cost him. Think he is still capable of playing good footy when everyone fit and firing, just last few weeks the backline been impacted by injuries and Lever being a bit out of sort.

What can the AFL do here, is it just a fine or a ban likely? Would hate to lose him for the Brisbane game

If there was a "IS GRAHAM ARNOLD THE RIGHT MAN?" thread it would be full of 122142141241 pages of people saying no.
