Tasmanian AFL Team
Fun away trip though

The Soccer thread
writing was on the weeks ago, even though Arsenal were in front it was Man Citys title to lose more than Arsenals to win, and the Man City juggernaut just rolls on. Arsenal will continue to improve but this was probably their best shot to win the title as other clubs will have a resurgence next year.

Dees Potential Draft Play to Secure Pick #1
simultaneously, they also have the runs on the board to nail 3 first round picks. Tough one

I didn't realise Grundy was this good.
Having them both is a cheat code

Does Kade make the grade, or will it be Chandlermonium
His physical presence for his size is a great attribute. Still remember his debut, thumped by the Swans but Kade had 9 tackles that game, equal most with Jack Viney. Obviously covid impacted his development but happy he's forced his way into the team and now finding goals after a few blanks in previous seasons.

Tasmanian AFL Team
I get your point, just meant from a fan POV Monday/Thursday are difficult to attend at times but understand the media/ratings side of it.

Tasmanian AFL Team
Can see them having a bye for one team a week and forcing more Monday/Thursday night footy on us.

2023 List and Contract Details
Premiership Demon to wait on career call Evergreen Demon Michael Hibberd won’t decide whether he will retire or play on next year until after Melbourne’s premiership bid ends. The 33-year-old played an integral defensive role in the Dees’ comeback win over Richmond on Anzac Day Eve, starting and finishing on Dustin Martin, while shutting down Noah Cumberland in between. Hibberd, who started his career with 84 games at Essendon, is 12 games short of reaching 200, with 17 matches, plus finals, for Melbourne to play this year. But his ongoing left achilles management – a problem that has plagued him for years – means he will have weeks off down the stretch. “I don’t think many people get to 33 unless they’re the genuine superstars these days, but I’ve just battled my way through, and I’ll keep battling away,” he told Money Talks. “I’ll wait until the end of the year to figure out what I want to do – whether I want to keep playing – and I’m sure the club will be in the same boat, but I’m just trying to enjoy every week at the moment. “I love playing in front of these crowds and for this team, so I’d love to do it forever, but you can’t beat the clock. We’ll wait and see.”

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
Last night a tiger fan next to me made fun of JvR ‘throwing a hissy fit’, had a wry smile when JvR made them leave the game early

THE SKY IS FALLING
Don't forget old mate Salem should hopefully be up and about soon/shortly (hopefully?) 6 Flag winners weren't in action against Essendon, i just like saying flag winners every so often to remind myself of 2021

Farewell Brodie Grundy
AND he was signed as part of a plan that has temporarily been de-railed due to injury. Had a few issues on the weekend but was hardly alone in that regard.

10 years on: From Melbourne’s darkest days to dynasty building
Speaking of ten years ago, Facebook has the Memories page which shows you posts you made on that day in years gone by. Yesterday it showed me a post from 2013 where I had checked at the G with a mate. Saturday afternoon, 18,571 in attendance and a 94 point loss to the Eagles.

- 2023 Injury List
Can confirm its averageness, currently rehabbing a sprained ankle myself. The joint sporadically decides to hate me. The villain origin story being a game of indoor soccer in my early 20s when it decided to go rogue.- The Soccer thread
Been a strange year with the WC break and the Queen saying goodbye, part of it painted Arsenal in a better spot than they perhaps were. Just saying in regards to the fact they played Manchester City for the first time in the middle of February. City are now 6 points behind but have a game in hand and host Arsenal. If they win both of those they are on top and the juggernaut will keep rolling. Will be tight but City should take it from here, not a choke from Arsenal, a remarkable effort from them all things considered.- Death Riding Fremantle 2023 - Feathered Cap Edition

would love to see more of this vision more often. Great run KC- PREGAME: Rd 04 vs West Coast
Others have mentioned it previously, but think he's a great Sub to come on late in games. So happy for him to stay the sub even after he gets the 100 Just run the risk of an early injury like Gawn against Brisbane, Melk was largely ineffective that game but not the biggest sample size for an argument i guess.- Ticketing 2023
I think there was at least 3 of us from here that went to the F1 aha. But really it would have taken supporters away from both teams. Even saw some poor bloke at the F1 wearing a Hawthorn jumper. - 2023 Injury List
