I used to play sunday league soccer (long retired) and most games were either at 11am, 1pm, 3pm. So I missed a lot of games when we were poor, which may or may not have been a blessing. I actually don't mind the Sunday 1pm even though its a bit of a graveyard, don't like getting home too late on a Sunday, like to meal prep or unwind etc.

It's an interesting one. We were originally after Pick 13, so not sure what our original plan was. I would still prefer 2 mids, but guess a lot depends on development of Jeffo/Adams/Kentfield and how confident we are we'll get Kalani next year or if we can bring in Derksen.

I’ve never seen the original series, only the meh movie from the 90s. British dramas are just a+ viewing though

Had to say goodbye to my old cat last month, played this song too often in the last month. It's the final song in a trilogy of of songs (first two released by The Weakerthans) about the relationship between a pet owner in the throes of depression/life and Virtute the Cat. The first two songs are written from the perspective of the cat but this one the cat is basically resurrected in the mind of its recovering owner. Some very good songwriting about a fictional cat.

Watched all 5 episodes yesterday now I need to wait for weekly episodes, which I am not a fan of. Next show on my list is Shoresy (a spin off of Letterkenny) and then Silo.

Its funny how it all works as well. I was watching the A-League on Paramount+ direct from LG App on Friday and was encountering significant connection issues - buffering issues and then lost connection and couldnt even get back into the game after a reset, switched to chromecast/google tv and most of the problems disappeared instantly. Never really had any other buffering issues, but Paramount+ are a bit flaky with live streaming. Re: HBO they announced recently they'll be launching HBO Max in Australia in the first half of 2025. Much like FoxSports, the price of Binge continues to rise even though they're losing content.

Unfortunately Fox Sports (at present) don't care about the world game.

Another website gave us a B+ It's a little confusing, Fox seems to be focusing on players in/out for us with no mention of us gaining an extra first round pick whilst at the same time giving Richmond an A- for losing several players, not replacing them with players but with high end draft picks.
