another yikes moment on the weekend, absolute criminal recruitment strategy and I should know United have spent the larger part of a decade not buying what they need and wasting $
-
Another social media take designed for clicks and outrage, i know our forwardline a little iffy but surely we should be a bit higher.
-
And now another perspective
-
Just change the ? To a !

Yep hoping for a big 2023 from him. Will be interesting to see how much of a missing link he is/was. On a side note based on your icon; I watched Marked for Death on the weekend

Grew up hearing the same, and now when I hear that song I sing "Pistachio, Pistachio, a kind of nut' But back to the thread, for me - boring name + number of fav growing up, Big Jim
-
Was happy to hear his manager acknowledge he's made mistakes in the past. Hopefully he's committed to good culture and good football and both parties will reap the benefits.

The door shut on AFL footy? Surely worth a risk for some club
-
Saw an image the other day out of the GWS first picks at the draft from 2011 to 2020 - now only Whitfield and Ash remain. So imagine clubs will be lining up for Cadman in the near future to keep the trend going.
-
Puts Salah central he scores a quickfire hat-trick.. *pretends to be shocked*
-
In an ideal world with no injuries, not sure either would crack our best 22 (regularly) but we'll see.
-
Saw an angry Collingwood fan call him a 'trader' for leaving - enjoyed that one
-
If it does go to 5 Players on the bench and no medi sub, would be curious to see how many teams run 2 rucks.

Gryan won a flag, so you never know
-
Simultaneously a shame for us and also funny at Collingwood, so somewhat of a win?
-
Most said we paid overs for Lever, ended up winning a Flag so if we did it was worth it. If LJ signed a 7 year deal and plays a part in a winning flag there i'm sure they'll say it was worth it. You can afford to pay overs if you're bringing in the right person and selecting the right picks. The Lever deal got us a pick we used on Petty, few years down the line, a great trade for us

Sort of a panic, United were sniffing about which made LFC act quicker. Either way happy with Antony, settled into PL life v quickly.
-
Last night I was very firm that we did need him. But provided we have a healthy Tmac and developing JvR I think we'll be right especially as head into a Gawn/Grundy era
-
I still think you got your (English) summer transfers wrong. If I was in charge of LFC, would have bought a cheaper forward and re-enforced the midfield. I am very critical of Henderson and he should not be a regular starter, let alone your captain. But it is what it is, Nunez will come good, but you're not getting the most out of Mo Salah, he should be the focal point of the attack. 1 Point off the Title in 21/22 but looking miles off it this year, Arsenal will drop away eventually and Haaland will just keep scoring and the title will be won very early

Expect any List manager to talk a big game but at the end of the day Lamb had one arm tied behind his back in terms of what we could get in return.
-
I would have liked a better deal but at the end of the day, LJ wanted Freo, they wanted him. Not sure WC ever really in the picture, just some posturing from all involved? The deal whilst disappointing, probably as good as we could get from them, especially given we needed time/picks to also get Grundy sorted.

Lousy Smarch Image

Reckon it's a inevitable that GWS will grab #1 from North, so we will miss out on him as GWS will pick him up. Then he will eventually go to Geelong or Richmond. Oh well

aha., Confirming I did not love the Neeld era. It's hard to explain, my first love is the game of Football (soccer). Guess they just reminded me of pacey wingers taking on opposition players and marauding up the field. So I've got a soft spot for players who exhibit a bit of dash and dare. Find it entertaining Also with Frosty you never knew what was coming so it was always exciting!
