2025 fixture wishlist
Id like a trip to Tasmania, purely for an away trip. I would also not like to play a SA team in Gather Round

I assume that's why he's staying silent, some plausible deniability?

NON-MFC: Trade Talk
Some more updates from Sam Edmund Dan Houston (Port Adelaide) āHe was strongly linked to Melbourne for a time and that did appear the most likely outcome before things further unraveled at the Demons,ā Edmund said. āThereās the possibility that he remains at Port, but with the Melbourne door closing theyāve been looking at other avenues. āOne of those avenues is absolutely St Kilda. There has been conversations between club and player here. My understanding is Houston has a level of interest in getting to Moorabbin. āAs things stand, he is one to watch when it comes to St Kildaās trade period.ā Tim Membrey (St Kilda) āHeās an unrestricted free agent, so that appeals to clubs. Heās only 30 and heās unsure where he sits at St Kilda at the moment. Heās half expecting to be permitted to seek a trade elsewhere.ā āThere have been preliminary conversations with North Melbourne and I think a few other clubs, but nothing has progressed too far given heās yet to learn what it looks like at Moorabbin.ā Leek Aleer (GWS) āHeās a very bright young talent and in and out of a strong Giants backline.ā āThe phone has rung hot for him all year. Heās contracted until 2025 at the Giants. Iāve been told heās determined to see out at least next year. āBut 2025 is a big year for Aleer to make a decision and heās no certainly no guarantee to stay on.ā Matt Owies (Carlton) āI still think the more likely outcome is that he stays.ā John Noble (Collingwood) āThey only had a rough inkling of (his desire to get to the Gold Coast), Collingwood.ā āThere was an element of surprise internally at the Pies.ā

Pick 25 for McAdam
Yeh was a bad start for him, but need to back him in to lift in 2025. He's got some of the right tools, hopefully fit and firing at pre-season. That being said a little ominous with 10 AFL games over 2 years though.

You never know with the AFL. I assume the AFL will be keeping an eye on it as I imagine theyd prefer the grievance tribunal remains unused so precedents are not set etc. Would be typical AFL to look after the big boy clubs though.

Farewell Adam Tomlinson
I wasnt against him sticking around another year as depth but happy he can get a contract and a starting gig at another club. Been unlucky here at times, all the best fella

Christian Petracca
we are paying him a lot of money but imagine if he was focused on growing his brand he may consider a lesser contract at another suitor if he believed in the long-run the move would pay dividends.

That's the confusing thing for me, if you want to go somewhere, surely you don't kick the hornets nest if it's not seemingly possible unless you want to be stung.

He may have some grievances it may be brand related but the timing is not in his favour regardless which one it is. This time next year probably opens more doors for him. When the news first came out I thought 2025 heād be a Demon but after that it may be a different story with the future trading etc, Gives us a year to try fix any issues or alternatively make some enquires for other players etc.

Just had a look at the facebook event page, seems a nice way to waste $49 lol In the highly unlikely event THE FOOTY FEAST PANEL SHOW is to be moved to a different date due to circumstances outside of our control, no refund requests will be accepted. However, if the date is to be changed your ticket will be valid for the new date or we may offer you the chance to transfer your ticket to another one of our shows. This is at the discretion of our show manager who will cater for individual circumstances.

Delistings 2024
MELBOURNE has made two changes to its AFL list, informing Josh Schache and Kyah Farris-White they will not receive a contract for the 2025 season. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1640448/melbourne-farewell-duo-of-talls/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR1gixR6P2Msis3OINh5HXOdV7bLfCR3ZeYlbH3mRPizY52z6Hzz6RfJgbI_aem_wYhaS_lz5igwdrLqXWZN1g

Just some Collingwood fan on Twitter/X , the proposed trades being suggested by opposition fans online is the only part of this situation I can laugh about.

Doubt think Petracca would let anyone over-cook, as he's worried the correlation will impact his cooking brand/insta
