"Luke Jackson won't make it as a ruckman" Dwayne Russell 3/12/20
The kid has just turned 19 FCS. Coincidentally, 19 is Dwayne's IQ.

THE PECKING ORDER
If you think that Melksham ranks higher in terms of importance to the team than May, Petracca or Oliver, you might be on your own brother.

Adam Treloar
I know with a fair degree of accuracy that the comments about Treloar not being wanted by leadership group players at Collingwood is correct. I donât know the full details but Pendlebury and Sidebottom are apparently not fans of Treloar and vice versa. i look forward to watching the Dogs -v- Pies debacle unfold.

Adam Treloar
I laughed at McGuire being referred to as a âBroady standover merchantâ. He would have been in bed by 7 every night the frightened little rabbit! Even at 18 years of age!

Another Season for Mitch Brown
I donât think anyone was saying you were DS.

2020 Player Reviews: #5 Christian Petracca
Me too nosoup. I reckon there is at least one more level in him. Maybe more. Scary for some, spectacular for us!

Another Season for Mitch Brown
He is more of a tall, link up player rather than a KP player. Having said that, he can play either end of the ground if needed. Those types are not easy to find and he is a very good insurance player in my view. Good decision to keep him on. I also think he is somewhat underrated. A smart footballer who plays his role to the letter. Anyone who has used the words dud, spud or soft in their descriptions of Mitch need to give themselves an uppercut and try looking outside of that tiny little square occasionally.

2020 Player Reviews: #6 Luke Jackson
So excited to watch the career of this young man unfold. The glimpses we got of him during the year showed what a huge potential talent he is. He has midfielder skills and agility and I'd really like to see him at least given a bit of time in the centre of the ground. He will probably end up 200cm/95 kg and will hopefully be a nightmare for opposition defenders for many years to come if he doesn't become the tallest mid in the game. I guess the biggest challenge will be keeping him in our colours for the entirety of his career.

Swiss Cheese Demons by Matt Rendell
(imv agree as a plan B in case May gets an injury. Perhaps use a pick63 on recycled tall back) Logan Austin. Delisted ex-Saint.

Trade Targets
Out of left field I know but St Kilda delisted key defender Logan Austin who has been cruelled by injury since 2018. Saints were not prepared to renew his contract. I remember he looked like a potential star in his games in 2018 averaging 19 disposals and 7 marks at full back. Free and not much dough contract wise. Would be handy to have if medically sound.

Projected Best 22's 2021
That is what âchanceâ meant. He would be a chance to be in our best 22.

Jack Steven
No way. In it only for the money now and clearly the Cats have realised that.

Projected Best 22's 2021
My thoughts exactly Demonstone. Petty must be chance too.

Hore & Spargo Ink New Deals
Those of you bagging Marty Hore clearly donât understand the asset that he is. He is a wonderful reader of the ball/play which is an essential ability for a defender and not particularly common. He will complement May and Lever very well. As for Charlie Spargo, I can see a footy brain there but he needs to add 10 metres to his kicks and develop opposite side skills. Some extra upper body strength would help to stick more tackles too. Can be good if he works hard enough.

Nathan Jones Locked in for 2021
Its been a long time between drinks for this footy club insofar as positive milestone moments go. 300 games for Nate Jones is something that will boost team morale no end. Further, it sets a standard for players like Oliver et al who may think twice about leaving a club that supports its champions even when the chips are down and personifies the "one club" tenet. Further, anyone who thinks Jonesy is "finished" doesn't know the bloke nor have any concept of where he has been and what he has been through.

2020 Player Reviews: #41 Jay Lockhart
Underrated player is young Jay. I for one would be happy with him in my best 22. Struggled with a few niggles this year but certainly can be a player.

Jesse Hogan on the way out at Freo?
Freo virtually trying to give him away says it all. Had his chances and blew them all away. It would be a very brave AFL list manager that takes him on. Massive risk. Sad and disappointing. Yes, some personal issues over which he had no control but has made some bad choices subsequently.

The Flag Is Coming Our Way
Werridee mate, your passion is commendable but I am concerned that you wonât be able to see us win that elusive flag. You will be blind quite soon I fear.

Neville Jetta
People here saying Nev is cooked need to ask themselves why Nathan Buckley is contacting him personally to go across to the Pies. I reckon he still must have plenty to offer. We need to be smart about this.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
I read that somebody said that Weed and Ben Brown are similar footballers? They are not. One is proven and capable of leading strongly, taking marks and kicking 60 goals a year......
