They drove the Iraqis back in to Iraq and withdrew, they didn't invade Iraq.
-
Can I borrow your tin foil hat, I'm being invaded by Martians.
-
Um, they didn't invade Iraq in the Gulf War, are you trying to rewrite history? Oh, I see you are now trying to intertwine Christianity and the Liberal Party, nice try.
-
911 occurred before they invaded Iraq and don't tell me that there were no Islamic terrorists prior to that. Anyway the common reason why the world is no longer a safe place is because of ........?
-
I believe he was at North before he came across to the D's. anyway, they are welcome to him and it's a bit of payback.

You should read your own tripe, all you ever do is stand up for muslims and try to deflect every conversation on to Christians. the world is a lot less safe because of them and try as you might you will never be able to alter that undeniable fact. Islam is the lowest bar and I couldn't give a [censored] about Christians.

Thiis is a good read for those that can crack the Australian's paywall. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/opinion/blogs/jack-the-insider-stop-laughing-this-is-islam/news-story/65d5004672e901c36586894a4754bcb3 "However, Aisha, who married Muhammad when she was just six years old, recalled she never saw the Prophet laugh, at least not to the point of tonsil-exposed cachinnation but apparently he did smile a lot." "So if poking fun at Islam is out surely it must be all right to crack jokes about some of its appalling political organisations, like say Islamic State? Well, no. Certainly not in Egypt where last year four Coptic Christian students aged between 15 and 17 were sentenced to five years in prison for mocking IS terrorists on a video they shot on their teacher’s mobile phone while away on a school trip. The phone was lost or stolen and ended up in the hands of an Islamist who raised hell, gathered an ugly mob, rained terror down on the boys’ mainly Coptic town, pillaging homes and businesses and forcing the boys to flee their homes. Rather than engage the mob, Egyptian police turned on the boys and their teacher and charged them all with blasphemy. Happily, the students fled to Switzerland and applied for refugee status. Their applications were quickly accepted and they are safe and well. The fate of their Coptic teacher is less clear as he languishes in an Egyptian jail for five years"

That's why they always seem to say," he was suffering some sort of mental illness" when a jihadist commits some sort of terrorist attack. This is not a competition between the Christians and the Muslims, it's a difference in the outlook on life between civilised and uncivilised.

Tell me, how are Gays and Women treated in muslim countries? In Christian Countries Women are allowed to leave the house without permission and an escort, they are allowed to work, they are allowed an education, they are allowed to drive a car, they are allowed to have sex outside marriage, they don't get stoned or imprisoned if they are raped, no genital mutilation, no forced marriages, which religion is the better one for women? In Christian Countries, gays are free to go about their business and in some they are allowed to get married, if not they are free to live together and live the life of a couple, which religion is better for Gays?

Just finished reading most of this thread and what a ramble, it's gone from a shooting in Canada, to the KKK, the Nazis, the Middle East and just about every other conflict and eventually finishes up with the tin foil hat, conspiracy brigade on 911. About the only group I would associate with the Nazis is ISIS, they certainly seem hell bent on the genocide of the Christians in Syria, isn't this what the Nazis did with the Jews? They have been found to have committed unbelievable atrocities against those that have been captured, beheading and slaughtering them. The KKK are a bunch of racist idiots but the number of deaths of Black Americans attributed to the KKK is nowhere near and in fact a fraction of the number that is committed by other black Americans, in fact there was a survey that showed that there are nearly as many black on black deaths committed in a 6 month period than in the whole existence of the KKK. There have been about 3,600 deaths attributed to, mainly lynchings, the KKK and it is impossible to say if they were all committed by the KKK, that was over an 86 year span. http://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2013/nov/27/allen-west/allen-west-more-black-black-murders-six-months-86-/ There is a lot of talk about the slaughter of muslims by the Western Alliance but this pales in to insignificance when you consider the number of muslims that are killed by other muslims. There were an estimated 1,000,000 killed in the Iraq/Iran war and the number killed each week in Iraq by car bombings account for thousands over the last 10 years, the Kurds were gassed by Saddam and there are many other examples of muslims killing muslims. There are so many that I haven't got the time to list them all but the Taliban slaughtered thousands in Afghanistan and that's ongoing. If woman is raped in some muslim countries and reports it she is either thrown in jail or stoned to death. Gays are killed if they are exposed and the treatment of Women is appalling, but apart from that all is well. I'd like to see muslims take to the streets and demand that there be an end to the slaughter in the middle east and that the terrorists cease to carry out their killings, if that happens then it will be the first step to some acceptance of muslims by a large percentage of Australians who don't trust them them.

Happy Birthday Danners, each one will be precious to you and hopefully you are feeling well enough to celebrate it. Cheers.

No one could get close to the West Coast because of the widespread drug cheating in place there at the time, they should have been stripped of the flag many years ago. How many ex players coming out will it take before the AFL has a full enquiry in to the club as it was at that time and since, the latest ex player gone wrong is facing a jail term and there are other examples of players that have complained of the drug culture, or in the case of Mainwaring, died because of drug addiction. We should have beaten them over there if it was a level playing field and in fact probably wouldn't have had to go over there at all if they weren't drug cheats. Everyone knew at the time they were on the gear, it was obvious just looking at them at the start of the season, but they got away with it because no one in the AFL was prepared to say anything that would upset them. McLean gets up on the TV and accuses us of, maybe not trying too hard to win games, and we get busted for $500k, there have been many that have stated that there was a drug culture at West Coast and nothing happens, Chick said that the place was awash with Prednisolone a form of steroid, but does the AFL call him in to discuss it, certainly not. What a joke.

Tyson is already a very good player and I expect Salem and Hunt will step up this year, in fact I would be prepared to say that they will both be stars of the competition, both of these players are on the verge of setting the comp alight.
-
Averages over their career to date and they are very similar, Dom has only played 11 more games and shades Kelly in most areas. http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=12&playerStatus2=A&tid2=25&type=A&pid1=3641&pid2=3919&fid1=C&fid2=C

Have to agree with that, Fyfe without the leg injury is the best player in the comp, Kelly is an onside mid with talent but has a great midfield to support him. I'd be interested to see how he would go if he was the centre of attention and had to burrow in and get his own ball. We haven't seen the best of Salem yet and for that matter we haven't seen the best of Dom either.

You're right, we look like we are almost at a standstill at times. On a more serious note, they look like they are doing it hard in the warmer weather and humidity, the last player, think it was Bernie, looked spent.
-
Well for a start we are an awsome team and will win multiple flags at the greatest ground in the world, as opposed to playing at some two bit ground in the middle of nowhere NSW in front of 5,000 spectators (if lucky) every second week. Apart from that, I can't for the life of me answer that question, other than the fact that two of his mates from BGS are there as well.
-
Plus us taking Hogan as a Priority pick in the mini draft, ahead/instead of Kelly.

If you look at the way Neita walks it's always on the balls of his feet, I was trying to work out what it was that made him bounce and noticed that it was this, have a look at an old video one day. Glad to have Neita back at the club in this capacity, he is a great guy and as some have said, he's so humble and reluctant to talk about himself.

What other form is there in the pre season? If you have two players that are of, roughly, equal ability and one is training really well and the other is coasting through, or is not competing as well, which one gets the nod in the first game. Let's remember, after that, the incumbent has the advantage unless his form falters.
-
I'm not condoning his personal use of peptides, but it doesn't say in there, or anywhere that I've read that he was involved in the administration of drugs to the players.

This is a forum, some will agree with you some will not, that could be a once off, or all the time, but the nature of a forum is that everyone has an opinion. I'm not that sensitive that I have to argue with everyone that disagrees with me, it's simply not that important and I can't assume that I'm always right. If you feel the need to respond to every poster that differs from you, then good on you, but you have to also expect that that applies in reverse and those that differ to you have the same right of reply. Me, I just get on with it, my skins not that thin that I have to take umbrage over every comment that refutes my opinion, I'd suggest that you think about doing the same. This forum gets clogged up with petty, back and forth posts that do nothing for the site, try letting someone else have the last word, maybe you'll find it doesn't hurt as much as you thought it might.

Interesting, I have been getting calls from a Daniel who has been pushing tickets for the past players association and I've fobbed him off a bit because I'm not even remotely interested in the prize on offer. I've always bought a few tickets but this year I just didn't feel inclined so it is interesting to see that there may be two different raffles. Have you been in touch with the club to see which is the club sanctioned one?
-
I think that's precisely what STMJ was saying to you.

I've equivocated over Spence for several years now, first of all I thought he would be ok then I thought maybe not, then he played a couple of reasonable games and I jumped back on board again but after a while I figured that he just didn't have it. He's been on the list for what seems a thousand years and has played 30 odd games, this year must be make or break and I hope he turns it round like the Russian did. At least this year he has trained well and given himself a chance to get a game or two, not like previous years where he's been behind the 8 ball before the season starts.
