  1. I was thinking the same, that's the way the old Hawthorn played, when Mitchell was in the side, it's not going to win a flag. It was as if they were trying to show the fans that they are a "hard it side" when in reality they are just snipers and target players when they are vulnerable. That hit on Max when he had disposed of the ball should have been reportable, but it wasn't, probably because Max got up.
  2. I was going to the game and left with plenty of time, from Coburg, to get to the G but the traffic was horrendous. I got to the G at 1.15 and was still in a traffic jam in Punt Road. After spending 30 more minutes trying to get off Punt road I got on to Toorak Road which was just a wall of traffic, after sitting in my car for ten minutes' did a u turn and went home. If I found a parking spot, which I probably wouldn't have, by the time I got to the ground it would have been half time. Funnily the vehicle in front of me was a Bulldogs supporter bus, so that answers the question about where the Bullies supporters were.
  3. If he played for Melbourne I would be disgusted with him, don't judge everyone on here by your own standards.
  4. I was at training last Friday at Casey and was super impressed by Windsor, he has got all the skills and does remind me of Whitfield, as someone commented on earlier. it was a closed session and a bit more tactical than normal and the boys were a bit more willing. Don’t ask me for a run down because I spent a lot of the time inside and missed a lot of the session. I did pay particular attention to the Duke.
  5. I can’t see Schache making it, I went to 3 training sessions last week and kept an eye on him, he’s not much different to what he was last year. He’s capable of doing good things, but I don’t think he’s got the mongrel in him to play at the top level.
  6. I'd be happy with that, more than happy.
  7. He’s been playing with the Saints no wonder he’s been ordinary over the last few years.
  8. I agree, we all have our opinion and it's not up to the AFL, or one of the big Banks to tell me what I should do or say.
  9. Let’s hope we don’t have a [censored] fight about this again.
  10. I have 6 tickets, Bay Q9 Level 4 Row D seats 15 - 20 that I don't need, I'm going to the AFL function so rather than have them go to waste I'm happy to offload them for face value $428.30 if anyone is interested.
  11. The family of one of my staff are dedicated Collingwood supporters and they have reserved seats for all home games, they just got their finals tickets, and they are sitting in the same spot they sit in every week. How does this work? I have legends membership and sit in the same seats every week but when I went to get tickets I finished in the nose bleed section of the Warne stand. Do Collingwood get some sort of preferential treatment?
  12. Good on him, we hear about all the young kids at other clubs and how good they are, but the commentators never praise our boys. I'm sick of the praise heaped on Hawthorn youngsters, it's harder to break into a top club and hold your position than it is to get a game in a [censored] club like Hawthorn.
  13. My son finally got some tickets, but they are in the Warne stand in section Q and I think that's near the top, so not great. Got 6 so that may be why I couldn't get better.
  14. My son is trying to get seats for my family and had good ones, ground level behind the goals at the Punt Road end but he put the credit card in incorrectly and it rejected it and when he tried his own credit card it said those tickets have gone. That's one of the biggest problems with having an apostrophe in your last name, it refuses to recognize it.
  15. Do you ever get excited? You do know we won, don't you?
  16. Remember how divided Demonland was when we had to choose between him and Clarrie. I'd say if we can fit him in, we should try.
  17. What about the coach, it’s gotta be Simon.
  18. Bluey Adams won 6 flags with the demons
  19. They were best mates. Since Darcys been out injured, Dogga has been really good, there's only room for one of them, maybe they'll trade Darcy?
  20. I was speaking to Kate Roffey at a club function and she said Riv really loves the club and can't see him wanting to go anywhere else.
  21. Kozzie was down on his haunches in the middle of the ground after the game, he seemed to be unable to get moving during it. I remarked to a few of the guys I was sitting with he looked out of sorts and when he didn't make the distance, kicking for goal from 40 metres out, he looked like he had no energy. We had two players not make the distance from around the 40 metre mark, so maybe there is a virus going through the club. I've never seen Kozzie unable to chase like yesterday's game.
  22. I don't know why anyone bothers to listen to her, she only seems to be interested in potting clubs, us in particular, and the murkier side of AFL football. I don't listen to her and can only go by what I read on here, but it certainly doesn't encourage me too. It's always a joy to beat Richmond, Most of the football commentators dislike Melbourne because we were a basket case for such a long time, and they seem to think our supporters lack passion and aren't prepared to go to games. Perhaps they should look at our attendance record this year; they may be surprised.
  23. Hopefully he will be the next one to sign, he doesn't get much love on here but is a very good player, IMO and we shouldn't lose him.
  24. I'm a legends club member and I have 6 seats, but I'm taking a group to the Presidents Club lunch, so my seats are going to be unoccupied and are not transferrable. You get seats as part of the lunch, pity but that's the way it is. Even at the Anzac game there were plenty of seats around me empty.
  25. I've been called a lot of things over my lifetime but none of it ever worried me, why give anyone the satisfaction of knowing they've got in your head. People are too precious now; they wouldn't have survived in the time when I grew up.
