Not an AFL member but a MFC member, seats are on opposite side to the interchange, level 1 aisle 5 seats H 18 and 19, is that supposed to be for the saints members? Hope I'm not sitting amongst Saints supporters, unless we are miles in front that is.
-
Went on to ticketmaster and booked two seats on the wing lower level for $20 plus fee each. Seems as if there are seats available if you want them. I'm not willing to take the chance of getting a seat in the top level, on the day with my 18 game membership.

Which part, the bit where he failed to clear up the Watts situation, or the the part where he humiliated Trenners?

Have to agree with that, it's not been a good start from a perspective point of view, he should have cleared up the Watts situation himself, rather than have the players answer the questions and he should have either left Trenners out, or played him for some of the game. It showed a total lack of respect for the player and i don't care if it was a first year player or a former captain, it just doesn't look good, it was a practice match FCS. So far Goodwin has not impressed with his player handling, I hope he can coach a bit better.

I thought that Jack was ok but he looked a bit hesitant at times, I think he needed the run and after all the talk about intensity, I didn't see a huge improvement there.

JLT Round 4, Thursday 9th March - West Coast at Subiaco
Dante replied to McQueen's topic in Melbourne Demons
We scrambled all night and they were so much cleaner than us, the final score flattered us. They had a line of players coming forward and we just chased them all night. It looked like a well drilled side playing a bunch of battlers, some of our better players were pretty ordinary tonight. I know it was only a practice match but our system just didn't work tonight and they played us like St Kilda did last year. -

They are just walking out of our forward line with the ball, we just can't keep it in there. Some very ordinary performances out there tonight and this might be a wake up call, our skill level is appalling. I'm surprised they aren't further in front, they are just coasting and we are just not up to it. -
Whatever happens tonight, he's been picked and we can all make up our minds what difference, if any, there is from when he last played. Hopefully we will see him lay a few more tackles and contest a few more marks, if that's what the coach wants.
-
I said Coach.
-
Prior to Goodwin, the last Ginger coach we had was Norm Smith.
-
Early on Tommy had a real nasty streak in him, I remember one time he beat Paton in a contest and then stood over him giving him a mouthful, he seems to have lost that little bit of nastiness, maybe he was told to by the coach. Tom is a good player and will be better but he needs to get that core strength back, he seems to get pushed out of the contest too easily at times.

If it was injuries that caused him to miss games, then fair enough, but it was an illness which, once discovered, was treatable. He is going to be a very good player and we would have regretted it, in spades if we had traded him. Remember, he's only 21 and has only played 30 games, wait until he's played 50 or 60, trading him will be a distant memory.
-
Not as smooth yet, but yes.
-
I'm just happy he's still playing for Melbourne, there were more than a few who wanted to trade him last year and regarded him as just trade bait. Salem will be a star I said it then and I'll say it again, questions over his hardness are just ridiculous, he gets his own ball and uses it better than most in the side, that goal he kicked from the wrong pocket yesterday shows that.

I like the fact that, whenever there is a loose ball in the forward line, you will generally find ANB there to pounce, he could get a couple of goals a week just being an opportunistic forward. He got one yesterday and should have had another when he took the mark which was taken off him and given to Spence and there were a couple of other times when he was thereabouts but someone else got in first. Two years ago he would have been almost an automatic selection.

Just watched the replay too and I have a feeling that Weid will be a very good player for us, I'm looking forward to seeing him develop throughout the year. He will get more involved and start to clunk a few marks after he gets a few more games under his belt.
-
After watching the game today I have a feeling that Jack Watts is out because of lack of intensity, the pressure we applied was incredible and I doubt that Jack is capable of that sort of tackling pressure. If he is to be part of the team he needs to learn how to tackle and hurt, not just throw out an arm and hope for the best. Non negotiable. Sleeve, great day at the game and I thought I recognised you, we met at a family day several years ago when Jack Viney was being introduced to the club. Good to see you again, keep in touch.
-
Hopefully the club will get on top of this and clear the air, if he has an injury, then say so, Jack has copped too much over time and doesn't need another assault from the media. If he was in poor shape, then say so and don't let this get any legs.

Nat Jones said that he thought Salem was a real tough nut and loved the hard stuff, that's good enough for me.

Bit like Pauline Hanson, who would have thought that she had a chance of holding the balance of power in any Parliament, well the way things are going she could controls several.

If you follow this thread and can't understand what I've said, then I can't help you. I have tried to make it simple for you but it still seems to be too hard for you to understand. Maybe if you put the hat on it might help you to think.

There is plenty of historical footage of the Fuehrer in front of the adoring masses, no one needs to see any Hollywood films to understand what happened, unless you are in denial, you would know as well. I don't have a problem with the German people but don't pretend that the past never happened.

Forgot about Angela, if she was in charge the Ottoman Empire would still rule Europe and any attempt to kick them out would have been met with a protest by the [censored] left wing Germans.
-
Weren't all Germans conscripted, none of them were volunteers, were they, just doing what they were told and following orders. Good to see you are still able to stand by the Reich, if Adolph had only paid more attention to petrol and less to gas.

Thank God they weren't invaded by muslims, the 12 year olds wouldn't be virgins for long. The Apostates would have been beheaded and Germany would now be a no go zone.
