No, I think you are missing the point, that's exactly what has happened, perhaps you should read through this thread again. He was 19 last year and didn't dominate, well howdy doody, what did you expect, he's had a taste of what's required and now he knows what to do when he gets back in the side. Get off his back and just learn to be happy that we have a team that's good enough to allow him to develop before he gets thrown to the wolves.

Exactly, he's 20 and hasn't shown the talent yet to win a game off his own boot. Who cares about all his injuries and interrupted pre seasons, we want stars, nothing less will do. The season, for us, hasn't started yet and we have a side that appears capable of playing finals football this year but who cares about that, let's rip in to a kid who hasn't been given the chance to prove himself. Unbelievable.

What the Fritsch
It appears that the boys call him Frittata, that may have been mentioned before, or not.

Yes they were good, I've seen them and was surprised to see how good Rowan Atkinson was. There is another show called The Fall with Gillian Anderson (X Files) and that's up to season 3, also very good. I downloaded it but I think it's on Netflix now.

Couple of shows not mentioned on here are, Berlin Station, one series so far, excellent, not sure where you can get this may have to download Line of Duty, 5 series so far, 4 on Netflix Both British and both very good. Ozark, Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, on Netflix was also very good, very different and had to keep watching, hard to watch just one episode. Also Spooks, very good series 10 in all, you may have to download this. There is a movie on Netflix with Kit Harrington, based on the series, called surprisingly Spooks, MI5 Gunpowder, staring Kit Harrington, based on Guy Fawkes and the attempt to blow up Parliament, Harrington's distant relative Catsby was instrumental in the plot. Its a bit self indulgent but very good and very graphic. Three part series.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Careful Old, that post was almost positive.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I understand what you say about early draft picks and the possibility of having a gap of quality young players coming through, but realistically you can get some good players later in the draft. We learnt a lesson when we tanked that you may get the number one pick, but not necessarily the best player, $cully/Trengove, Martin. Hawthorn haven't had an early pick for a long while now but are rebuilding their side with older players and some later picks. Carlton have got some talented young players as have Brisbane but they are last and second last. We've got the basis of a good side and plenty of talented kids, now we have to top up with some specific players to fill specific gaps we have, if Lever is it then the club will know how much to pay for him. I'm not suggesting paying old rope for silk, but we may have a player or two who suits their needs and a first round draft pick and/or a second for next year, instead of a player.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Not sure why there are so many in this thread suggesting we trade ANB, I'd say he would be one of the first picked every week. The coach seems to have a really high regard for him and seems to think he does his job effectively most weeks, but here on Land, he's the first one to go. I'd be happy to get Lever but we have to balance it up with what we are prepared to pay and let's not rob Peter to pay Paul.

Zak Jones
Probably Nathan and JV.

Dynamic Pricing
They are sensational figures for us and the fact they include Alice make them even better, we would have been in front of Carlton if we'd played that game at the G.

He always looks composed and even if he cops a hit he just shrugs it off and gets on with it, it will be interesting to see how he copes with a tag, which will come soon, I would imagine. I was all for Parish and I'm happy to say I got it wrong.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
They need someone to replace Vickery and Paddy may just be the dud to do the job.

Everyone seems to think that Darcy Moore will be a star, so I've got a comparison between he and Weed when they were the same age, there's not a lot in it at this stage. On 3AW today, one of the footy panel said something along the lines of, this kid Oliver is going to be a star and he's only 22. They really do their homework, don't they.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
How could the Essendon football department be adamant no prohibited substances were given to players, when there are no records and they can't say what they were given. "Thompson never understood why Essendon self-reported on that fateful February day in 2013 because the key figures in the football department were adamant no prohibited substances were given to their players."

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Brayshaw wasn't a number one draft pick, he doesn't have Diabetes and he appears over the concussion issue, but apart from that, do difference.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
McCartin dropped this week due to poor form, I'd be a little concerned if I was a Saints supporter. Poor form, medical condition and concussion issues, doesn't paint a positive picture. Bit like a reverse Wines/Toumpas.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Petracca seems to get better with every game he plays and I'd expect him to dominate games in a couple of years. Where can he play, anywhere, he will be a midfielder eventually and when he matures a bit more he will be able to play back or forward as well. He has the skill, strength and self belief to become an A grade player in a short period of time.
-
The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
I only saw the highlights package of McCartin prior to the draft and he looked like one of those players that would always have trouble with his weight and this seems to be the case, this and the Diabetes should have been a warning, a number one draft pick is too valuable to take a chance with. Petracca will just get better and better and he will be our game breaker, he's got an ego but most top players have, it's a self belief that I'd hope all our young kids have got.

Prior to Goodwin, the last Ginger coach we had was Norm Smith.

Josh Kelly
Tyson is already a very good player and I expect Salem and Hunt will step up this year, in fact I would be prepared to say that they will both be stars of the competition, both of these players are on the verge of setting the comp alight.

Josh Kelly
Averages over their career to date and they are very similar, Dom has only played 11 more games and shades Kelly in most areas. http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=12&playerStatus2=A&tid2=25&type=A&pid1=3641&pid2=3919&fid1=C&fid2=C
