At some point we need to start discussing how overrated high picks are. Remember they are picking teenagers who have NEVER played against men. I want to win every game, our club has limited respect in the football world - that must be addressed.

This is Melbourne, they will win by under a goal and on one will touch Scully (not that I think they should)

Truth is, when Collingwood needed to, they dominated us. They were never challenged today.

I prefer these threads talking about how many games we are going to win as opposed to what draft pick selections are we going to get. No idea how many we will win but anything above 6 would be fantastic given our start.

Certianly on field last week the team look as unified as I have seen it this week. Maybe the senior players who were revmoved from the leadership group have found their new roles (which are still critical) and if so, lets hope all parties continue to work together. That alone makes us a much better side.

Would the market for Brent be that big? If he is 100% committed to the club lets sign him and I am sure it will be for the right price.

Great image but Neeld said it himself one win. I want to see four or five more myself. If we stay committed to the game plan and keep morale up, that is possible.

For some reason I thought we were due last night. Then upon hearing Neeld’s interview on Triple M before the game I really believed we would win. He was so relaxed and confident – totally different to any other time I have heard him. Sitting in the members and starting the celebration with 7 seconds to go was fantastic. I had to admit though, when I got back to the car I was back to thinking its only one win and now I want to see another next week. One win does not make up for the previous nine games.

Great work in the post game presser, only one win. A great night and good to celebrate, but we need to hold ourvsleves to that standard every week.

Though Nicho played a very attacking style and really liked his leadership in encouraging his team mates.

I drive the crowd I sit with mad each week with my ‘we should try Garland forward’ speech. Last night we finally got to see it. Fair to say a few had joined my campaign by the end of the night.

Watts and McDonald when up and about give our defence a different dimension. I do not think anyone knows what he will be, but last night was encouraging.

His composure has a greater ceiling than Warnock, but I would not say it is greater right now. Maybe I am still blinded by the Bulldogs game.

We need to win right now - putting date ranges is about everything but winning right now.

Neeld can best be judged when he has his list. The current list has numerous holes seemingly for his liking. I expect a busy off-season and a serious turn around mid next year.

When I have time to watch games at the moment, which is rare, I ignore the score and focus on which players are developing. In essence I have my own scoreboard – not that it is any better reading than the actual scoreboard some weeks.
